This is the main reason I see your southern politicans as idiot, can northern governor do this , the answer is no, you are looking for favour and you use your state resources for charity, did the state assembly approve this spending The answer is no, this is impeachable offense , how can you spend the state money as your own money, this cant happen if Nigeria is not a banana republic without impeachment. May God help us 3 Likes |

That money could have been used to pay gratuity of workers in the state which he claims there's no money. Just because of presidential ticket or vice, he's behaving like a slowpoke. |

I watched it on AIT news hour this evening. Imagine governor Wike that failed to pay the national minimum wage in Rivers state donating a whopping sum of #500,000,000 naira to a state that is paying the 30k minimum wage from inception. 1 Like |

richmond500:Hmmm...when you've grown up, then you get to understand their are protocols in life and everyone has his legal rights. No one is guilty until proven so by the court of law irrespective of what people may know or think. Incase you're not in this country, yes becoming a governor in a state like rivers state makes you stinking rich, maybe you can ask Tinubu about this. Besides, if the money were coming from his personal portfolio, then you don't expect him to pay pensioners from his hard earned money do you? Again, until it's confirmed the money is from the state or public funds, then Wike has the full right to spend the money however it pleases. Your slap won't really change anything. |

As a Rivers son. This singular act of his would have led to his removal in other climes. As if what Sokoto is already taking from Rivers state isn't much already! I pray in the near future my state will be set free from people like Wike. We've had bad governance since 1999 till date. 2 Likes |

Folks whose govs used their states share of excess crude revenue to fund BUHARI govt. are critisizing Wike here, when Ameachi was using Rivers money to fund their calamity of a party it was progressive, but Wike donating to victims of fire of sokot6 is retrogressive, but the lying Pastor buying votes is progress. witchcraft people |
