Deeaka: Nice vid...look for a way to reduce the breezy sound finding its way to your speaker. Work on infusing slow motion into the video. When you make reference to the eyes, you should zoom in..... These are a few suggestions that could help when making the next video 3 Likes 1 Share |

Did u see the name of the cargo office behind them, KENCHRIS INTERNATIONAL LTD AND KENCHRIS CARGO Also when u look at the other pic, it looks like inside of that cargo office as one could see cartons of goods with labels on them, which most likely is the name of the person to receive the goods in niger. I maybe wrong, but I am in this cargo biz in India and in all probability this guy's crime might be only the fact that he overstayed. If that is the case then Nigerian consulate in Bangkok should assist him to sort this out, there is always a solution to this like fine or some other arrangements. There is no need for this guy to come home and suffer what Nigerians are already suffering in the hands of Buhari. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Steady259: How can he settle the issue? He's definitely coming back to good old naija You should pray instead that he gets deported without serving a jail term from what I hear, south Asian jails are almost as bad as our own EmekaBlue: Blame that on our shameless civil servants and politicians who believe bribes are an entitlement or part of remuneration 2 Likes |

OruExpress:Bangkok looks like ordinary ihiala? You dey joke! Most of the guys in Asia went through what he went through to make that money. Which country extends Nigerias visas these days? None! You have to lay low to make the cash then go back to Nigeria and then come back and regularise your papers. That's the way it works for mostly young Nigerians in Asia.. 1 Like |

Stewart883: It's not about enjoying, few years ago we overtook them as the country with highest number of poor people, yes they are third world country, but the number of their citizens that get lifted from poverty on yearly basis will surprise you. They are making progress that can be tangible, progress that you can see, this is what we want in Nigeria not audio type. Back to the topic, if someone has been in a place for 7 years and suddenly without planing is being deported back home, it's not easy to adjust especially with the way Buhari has ran this country down with nepotism. |

danngnews: They will deport him. Especially now that his story has gone viral. Asian police may risk taking bribes to release anybody that has overstayed but that is if it's still an unknown case! Discreetly! He might even go for a prison sentence, maybe a year or above for this! But surely, he will pay a fine! In China, it's roughly 5000 yuan, which is few dollars short of 1000usd! Then he will get his finger prints taken to make sure he never comes back , sometimes for upto 5 years! You have to understand that it's very hard to get residence permit for Nigerian passport holders in Asia. So most times, overstaying is a matter of necessity for young "hustlers".. This is why it's imperative for the government to educate her citizens about the dangers involved in traveling to these places! Living without a residence permit in Asia is akin to living like a prisoner. You can even loose your life doing so... Police on your trail everyday! The Nigerian government should also do something about illegal Asians in Nigeria! It's frustrating to see their citizens walking around, taking up Nigerian business opportunities from locals, even getting involved with illegal mining, without bordering to extend their visas, when doing same in their country attracts direct prison sentence.. 5 Likes |

The guy is even helping their economy by shipping goods to Nigeria, they should regularise his Visa and allow him. Many Lebanese and Chinese people in Nigeria don't have Visa but are doing business and gainfully employing Nigerians and we just look away. |

nsiba: Aren't you disgruntled that he was not caught with drugs this time, against what may have been the situation eight times outta ten? He appears to be doing legitimate work. And I sincerely hope that may give him some leverage in the judicial process. The only felony to his name for a whole six years seems to be overstaying his visa. If there is any way he can renew it, they should allow him biko. I really feel for him now. Stewart883: At least he makes a decent living in India away from life of crime and also far away from the many uncertainties and insecurities that currently plague Nigeria, ably amplified by the Fulani patron. If Nigeria was good, you can bet it that people will live to stay back. I earn good in this country and take vacations to other climes but believe me if I earn much less and considering the fact that in this country the millions you earn here may become useless when faced with insecurity, kidnapping, police brutality and ethnoreligious conflicts, I'd have though of relocating completely. |

The sex capital of the world, that is Thailand. The fact that this guy even managed to carry on a legitimate business in Thailand, and did not get distracted by the millions of prostitutes operating freely in open places in that country, is enough reason to allow him to stay. |

owobokiri: With the little knowledge I have about diplomatic relations among nations, I can confidently tell you that this can change if Nigerian government do what they should do. Government relations is always all about give and take, for example American citizens travel to many countries visa free, do you think those countries don't get something in return for doing such favors to the US government? In this regard Nigeria has a lot of bargaining tools which I don't k ow why they don't want to use them. Let me use India for example, just three days ago, the police went t some area in Mumbai and arrested about 15 Nigerians for overstaying there visas. Meanwhile just as you rightly pointed out, Indian citizens are free toove around in Nigeria, and many of them with expired visas. It's the duty of Nigerian government through the embassy here to inform them that we could also arrest your citizens in Nigeria who has overstayed their visas, believe me once this is done, they will stop arresting our people in India for visa overstays. Don't get me wrong, if someone gets into drugs or fraud and its arrested, I support 100% for that person to be prosecuted, but for over stays when ur citizens are doing same in my country, that's no no. I intend writing to Abike Dabiri about this issues. When those guys were picked up, the police also too the chairs in their houses and gas cylinders and burners, how in the world does taking those stuff concern visa ovestays? Few years ago, Nigerians were being evicted from their houses in Goa, southern part of india, they then Nigerian Ambassador gave India untill 5 pm Nigerian time to stop or same will be done to their people in Nigeria and withing hours, things cooled down. I know that our people have issue with the way we behave with our hosts, but our government should also do their part. |
