The only reason this guy still has mouth is that Buhari is a worse president than him!all he had to do was rig the election and Nigeria would still be better On a serious note, unity is impossible in Nigeria, even on Nairaland,Igbos, Yoruba moslems(area people) and afonjas act like they are fighting virtual world war |

Igbochief001: If regions are so lovely...why are people clamoring for more states? The only regionalists I see come from big tribes... 2) people are allowed to chose which regions they want to belong The same regions that you created by fiat.Plus, why don't you let people decide how manyu regions they want...plus people want more states, not regions Shey you have forgotten why we have states...and no it is not because Gowon. 3) each region are divided into Provence and provence generate there revenue pay 40% to region ...region then pay 35% of it's revenue to federal unit And they will generate revenue how? With the whole country dependent on oil...you want to cut off the rest of the nation, including your region, from most of the oil revenue...meaning you have two options...for raisng revenue...war, or taxes. Only then can we grow ... We can only grow when we stop thinking that we can get revenue by selling raw materails, and start thinking we can get revneue by manufactruing...which you don't need regions for...just remove subsides on power and petroleum so that both sectors can grow...and power manufactruing. You want a free lunch. Each Provence should have it's local police , then there should be a general regional police , then dss serves as federal police but dss would have equal number per zone , same with army And in the abscence of oil money for most of the regions,. how will they be funded (and don't sing agrucuture...and mines)....Taxes. High taxes. 1 Like |

Omezif: Nigeria would have had the same issues that we have now if Jonathan had done his two terms and handed over to Igbo...because our economy is dependent on oil...and whenever oil prices crash, we have a bad economy. Infact when NOI was warning people in January 2015 that whoever won the election, the economy would collapse, she was not singing tales by moonlight. We were here before from 1982-2003. 1 Like |

I disagree with him Rather it's restructuring that will bring unity Because once there is unity, there will be no need for restructuring |

This guy has moving with Buhari, the stupidity is beginning to rub off on him. We need a restructuring and some level of real independence to create unity. We need to move apart to come together. 3 Likes |

This one is talking arrant nonsense.... Disunity is the prime reason we urgently need restructuring, to save what is left of this severely fractured nation, else it would be completely destroyed. Gej constant hangout with bubu ve damaged him |

bigfish3k: As they did for Igbo states.....who are just as backward as other states Plus, the no 1 business in Igboland is import and selling of imported stuff. Like the rest of Nigeria, you don't make anything for mass export. I'm not mocking your tribe...or any other tribe. I'm jsut tired of our constant following of old formulas. 2 Likes |

Look at the United states. Move between their 50 states and you would think you are in different countries. State police, state supreme court, state high court, state legislators, state this and state that. All answerable to the state and the State alone. But when it comes to defending the interests of the United states as s whole, the states come together as one. |

Slackerpenguin2:You can't blame igbo states because Nigeria is structured in a way that no state can develop without the federal government. Just remove exclusive list rubbish and see how igbo states will develop. We are being weighed down by the exclusive list which contains the foundation of any development Power, railway, seaport, airports etc are the foundations of development especially power 1 Like |
