Opportunity for some drivers to cash out grin

I think PHC has the highest rate. The fare is N85/km..

Taxi drop in PHC is not cheap, same for Owerri, that's y Bolt is having a headway there.

Yaba to Abule Osun is about 25km plus waiting time

Estimated as 3.5k minimum and 4.5k Max

Coming back estimated 3.5k min and 4.5Max

Yaba to VI 1.2k min 2kmax

Min amount 3.5 + 3.5 + 1.2 = 8.2k
Max amount 4.5+ 4.5+ 2 = 11k

To me, what the app calculated was d going trip plus the time on the app, the distance covered from Abule Osun to Yaba and Yaba to VI was not calculated

For giving him 8k, the guy was reasonable and for adding the 1k... You have also done well.
bolt is useless in this regard, they will only calculate ur one way trip, since it happens to me twice i will tell the rider am ending it at the first stop then we go offline on the return trip if not forget it... imagine taking someone from ajao road to mm2 then from airport to opebi and trip ended 700, the second experience was from omole to ICM waited for the guys for like 30mins to go get food inside the mall then back to omole and trip ended 800

Omo dem don unblock me for nairaland at last, all these mods make Una dey calm down o undecided

So I had my last bolt trip on Monday, Took rider from orchid road - Thomas estate, then rider opted for the whole day service to buy some stuffs @ Idumota and back to Thomas, we settle for 13k. Omo as we reached marina we got food then the waiting started.. from past 9am - past 5pm.

I'd say during that waiting time was the best thing that happened to me, we're still in January, the year still fresh to loseguard cheesy

First off, Investors, DONT INVEST anything above 1.5m in this business.

I own a car geng, There a other things far worth it out there you can do with your car, Take a trip to orchid road, if you don't find one example, then continue the Uber hustle cheesy

And most importantly, REMITTING DRIVERS cry

I have to hail you guys first of all! Na Una dey really keep Lagos moving! Any driver remitting back to back and still has a family deserves everything good in life cry Pls put eyes out there for better things brother, it's not easy, but it'll surely come.

I followed this page for a year plus before going into the streets of lagos cool But after 2months and 4days, I call it quit (to work only on public holidays) kiss

God bless us all, and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

They've been telling you that cancelation of trips affects rating here since, but you've refused to accept.

Canceling a trip before 5mins after swiping arrived affects ratings a lot. This is seasonal with bolt.

I experienced it 2019 xmas season. And this 2020 xmas.
I guess they haven't removed it yet.

If you doubt it, accept a trip, swipe arrived, wait for 3mins (not the normal 5mins waiting time) and then cancel.
Do this 4times a day for 3days, lets see if your rating will not go below 4.5.
oga there is nothing like cancellation affect rating. That swipe arrived is what I do mostly if I wanted to cancel a trip. The things is that bolt always update driver's rating between 5 to 10 ratings. NOTE not all riders rate

If you're complaining, what will drivers in Ibadan and Abeokuta do grin. Their rate is even lower than that of Lagos

I think PHC has the highest rate. The fare is N85/km..

Really? N85/km?? Well the Ph thatbi know is super saturated with a lot of taxi operators and so many normal town service buses and shuttles.

I kmow Ph wella and most people that uses taxi are Uniport students, some oil company workers, visitors from outside and more developed states lile Lagos and Abuja then some high class residences... An average Ph residence can park their car if it has a fault and use shuttle of N50,N100 or N200 bus. Most can't afford taxi let alone N85/km and probably N12 or N15/min all in the name of "oil rich state".

I'm very sure after they've gain ground they'll slash the fare because that's a caption for drivers to sign up with them. And I'm also sure they they womt have a large share base of the market lile the locals.

After waiting for somebody from 10am to 5:30pm the person comes and still keeps you waiting and discussing with a woman.

What do you do at this point?

Some people are just so insensitive

Now this is where I think the issue is. Why call account holder for items that was left in your car instead of the riders that left said items in the car. As far as I am concerned he went over board. Even if the girls stole his(account holder) entire house that is his headache not the driver's, after all na him know where e go carry the girls from. He(driver) just complicated issues for himself.

The driver is a fool...... He isn't wise!

Here what a partner has to say?
Look, I think we need to start calling these kinds of investors what they are, Fools!
How can you entrust your business to people who are not on any traceable database undecided I believe that in those developed countries (that they live) have some forms of "paperwork" that people present for jobs, whether part-time or full-time as a kind of traceable proof or so. Then they come to a hunger-stricken country and expect them to be truthful when they have nothing on them or about them? That's being ridiculous!
When I was driving, owner went to my house, checked where I'd be parking the car (to know if its safe), he entered my house as confirmation that I lived there, also to have a guarantor in the house I live, and he's actually someone I'd known for about 2 months prior. You can't just trust people, it's foolish!

Come to think of it, I still see those Moove cars in January, how are they meeting up? Cos even if they get preferential treatment from Uber.

Right now, Uber can't manufacture riders out of the thin air for them.... I'm just wondering..
