It looks very good ok. But why do you want to give yourself unnecessary headache? If people say it is not ok are you going to tear it down? You already pass that stage. At a stage in building construction you just have to accept and move on.

My initial woodwork was too short for my liking. I asked them to tear it down and redo it. it cost me additional #650k. This one is however different you already completed more than 50% of the roofing

What's the way around this to achieve this "security" and same time not impede emergency exit should the need arise?

Having a main entrance and back/side entry into a house sufficient or there are better ways to achieve this?

Don’t use burglary proofs! Find alternative means of securing your home.

Have more than 1 exit plan. One of my boss had a terrace to every room.
