damagnificentusb: Currently Tosin Adarabioyo has improved immensely and I do not see anybody displacing him Balogun, Ekong, Omeruo, Awaziem, Ajayi in the CB position as it stands in the HERE and NOW. Add to the fact he is much younger than all of them. Fulham maybe third from bottom but they play a particular style of football that only technically proficient players can thrive in. I have been immensely AMAZED at Anguissa he has been outstanding for Fulham if he could add scoring to his game he would be top class. The ball seems like it is glued to his foot. And his technical skills are sublime but he also has strength to add to it. Tega Onomah is going to find it near impossible to displace him he will have to UP his game to another Level , Anguissa is currently better. 5 Likes 1 Share |

maidaboi: Only time will tell. Liepzig is a very ambitious and they will need a proven tested and in form striker, I would not use those attributes to describe KC. |

Subzero047:Yes, as it stands. Anyways both players still have time to improve on the different aspects of their game. |

komekn:I totally disagree with you, how can compare Tosin with those guys. Tosin in the HERE and NOW is the best defender in the EPL. We should be comparing him with Stones, Dias, Mings, Fofana etc. The only defender better than Tosin is Dominic Iorfa. |

komekn:I have watched every Fulham game this season, I wouldn't necessarily say Robinson is exceptional at those attributes you listed. I know he is energetic and athletic but you can't say he is exceptional. I believe Sanusi would bench him... Let him start playing national team football b4 we put on the same pedestal with Sanusi.. |

komekn: Sanusi has spent just four years in Portugal (we still in January) he has steadily risen from Miradela to Santa Clara and he is presently one of the best players at FC PORTO there might be a million universe but there is none whereby Fulham is a better team than Porto 7 Likes |

komekn: If your ola aina was so good as u make it seem why did his career path have to go through a downward spiral from Chelsea. Why did he need to leave to Torino if he was really good he should have found a middle team in the epl. And why should his Torino stint be only good enough to bring him back to a relegation team in England. These things you have predicted about sanusi's long stay holds no value. He played for a relegation team and now he is playing for the best team in Portugal. He came from Africa to make a mark for himself. He didn't have the privilege of growing or horning his skills in the feeders team of one of the worlds best feeder team like Chelsea, unlike aina. So the five years he took to get to that height , commensurate with the time of right exposure in European soccer. He could retire in porto which is good for him and he could move to a more competitive league which is equally nice 4 Likes |

Nigeria youth international Nnamdi Ofoborh is being linked with a move to Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Rangers. According to Scottish Sun, The Light Blues are closing in on a deal for Bournemouth pair Jack Simpson and Ofoborh. The former Tottenham Hotspur youth-teamer can sign a preliminary contract with a foreign club this month as his contract with the Cherries expires in June 2021. Aside from Rangers, Ofoborh also has suitors from the English Football League including Charlton Athletic. Rangers have held preliminary talks with Bournemouth over a deal for the former Nigeria U20 international; the Championship promotion hopefuls would be due compensation if he moves across the border as he is under the age of 24. Over the course of this season Ofoborh has recorded five appearances for the Cherries in all competitions. Super Eagles stars Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo, ex-Golden Eaglets invitee Malcolm Ebiowei and Dapo Mebude are on the books of Rangers. |

bengine: First of all its your consistent, outstanding club and league performances that get you national team call up. This is why when a player is in s higher and better club it gives you propulsion to the national team. When a player does well he gets noticed. There is a reason Sanusi is not in a top 5 league and or club. In addition we really cannot say how good he is until he plays week in and week out in a better club league against opposition players who are faster, stronger and technically better. |

charlesemeka85: In my opinion in the HERE and NOW Nnamdi has a lot of development to do before he can get into the SE, there are a lot of players considerably better than him. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 11:50am On Jan 22, 2021 |
M7even: Your background is irrelevant you are getting sentimental and emotive. Whether your from China or Africa, that should not be an excuse. Players have left Africa direct from local football to top 5 leagues in Europe and have excelled. We talk about the HERE and NOW. The reference to Chelsea is not tenable and if you had an understanding of the dynamics at play in Chelsea you would not use that example. Lukaku who to me is one of the best, WORLD CLASS most consistent strikers in the world over the past 10 years. Did not get a look in at Chelsea. By your unit of measurement, Lukaku is therefore mediocre. Ola Aina chose Fulham there were other options and a big factor was the Managers and playing style. Finally, the EPL is the most competitive league in the World. |

charlesemeka85: I don't think moving to Rangers would be a good choice in Nnamdi Oforborh's development, I would have preferred staying in the Championship or even moving to a developmental league like France He missed his chance by not rejoining Wycombe on loan in the championship 1 Like |

Nnamdi Oforborh is one guy I had high hopes for the Nigerian midfield but his career path has been wayward, first benched at Bournemouth and on the verge of a move to Rangers when he could be playing at Wycombe and be looking to make a move to a more stable championship club if they are relegated His agent has blood on his hands 1 Like

komekn:Mr. K please remind us of the league Man Utd's current best player is from. He came right from the league you have denigrated and won the EPL player of the month multiple times. Ruben dias nko? So sir, Sanusi has played against the best in Europe and came smelling like roses. When your Robinson crusoe plays in the UCLthen this will be a legit argument. Jah bless!! 4 Likes |
