Young man apply for a job or better still build on your passion or goal in life. As a young graduate that you're Uber job should be the last option on your list so don't dent your young career with it.

But if you have a sponsor that's still willing to sponsor you further you education then you can do they uber job as a side job at your leisure.

Drop that poverty mentality of fast way to make money. The patient dog they say eats the fastest bone.

Advice from an experience friend.

People hardly listen to this/such advice.

Nothing we no dey see for this our hustle.

Picked up a lady to a place I later realised was the boyfriends house. On getting there, she told me to wait for like a minute and take her back to where I picked her.

For this winter, I don happy die. True to her words, she she came out not long after she entered. I changed destination and headed to the original pickup point.

Turns out she forgot her phone so she asked me to please go back to the place. As I was going back, one rough looking guy was trying to tell me to bring down my glass. I just quickly central locked the vehicle and kept going only for the lady to tell me to stop for him. I asked if she knew him, she said yes. So I stopped.

As we got back to the house, the guy told me to end the ride for so he can pay. The lady on the other hand told me to just wait for her to pick up her phone. The lady went inside.

This was how this guy came to meet me and started shouting that the girl is his fucking girlfriend and if I don't end that trip now, he will lock the gate and that is the end of my money because that girl is not coming back outside.

I quickly remembered the discussion the last couple of days about the girls who took drinks from the guys house so I told the guy, even if she's your wife, she's the one that ordered the ride and the only one who can tell me to end this trip. The guy said okay and banged the gate. I also heard him lock it from behind.

My plan was to end the trip after 10 minutes of not seeing the girl, report the incidence to bolt and then get my money from her whichever way I deem fit.

The lady came back not long after, said the guy has siezed her phone and she has option but to pay me. She also said the guy has vowed to give me a very bad rating with her phone for not ending the trip when he told me to and she hopes the rating won't affect me.

Told her not to worry, collected my money and left.

Na wa ooo...wetin musa no go see for gate.
U did the right thing sha. Thank God u collected ur money.

See me wahala o, so my car started blowing dry air this morning as I dey go buy something,(it blew it's usual mortuary standard last night) I just branched my mechanic, he called the AC man in his work center, AC man do him check, said I'll change evaporator, change condenser, change hose and some other gilbrish, back me 135k bill. undecided

Tho this is my first car and I don't know so much about cars, I feel it's outrageous and those things he mentioned are not all bad. Abeg who has a reliable and trustworthy AC guy lemme go there

PS: The heat part of the AC is still working perfectly, don't know if that counts sha

Try to refill and see if it chills. Could be minor leakage. Similar thing happened to me. A/C that worked previous night started blowing air the following day.

I got a ride request that took me to Apapa so i approached a mechanic I saw working by the road side. He called an a/c guy for me who examined the car and showed me where the leakage was. He charged me 8k but I told him I'll give him 5k. He refused.

I got home and took the car else where. This guy came and the next thing he told me was that he would need to open the dash board, he would also need to bring out my compressor. I just stood there looking at him like does this guy know what he's saying.

Last last 1.5k workmanship and two cans of refrigerant did the job. Had to get another person.

Check if the pressure lines still have pressure.

A typical Nigerian talking. No wonder he is trying to manage just 7 cars and his leaders corrupt.

I dont believe Deji.

1. He's a politician (whether active or passive, so I don't easily believe politicians)
2. He's Abuja based, I dont think ehailing business is that booming in Abuja to make one put 14 cars on it.

All my takes might be wrong though.

That's not discrediting the message in his post.

Maybe I missed your car make and model. Am assuming you have a fixed displacement (automatic) compressor.

If that's the case, he's 100% correct.
In addition, you will replace the rubber seals and expansion valve sad

People hardly listen to this/such advice.

Reason I don't like giving advice most of the time even when its been askk for because in the end you'd wasted your time, energy and gift doing something freely which most person would have got paid for. In any case we're here for humanity so let those who has ear take advantage of the goodwill been offered for free because one day it will definitely come to an end.

Oh so the fool is a politician even? What a shame. If it is a western country that man would have got his political career grounded for good. A Nigerian castigating Nigerians and making excuses for bad and wicked leadership.

What does he expect? To meet good people? After he has looted them blind? Isn't their palliative? He's simply reaping the fruits of his labour.

Modify:
That's not disputing his claim, instead, every Nigerian is supposed to be patriotic.

The market is trying to pick up... I don't know your income expectations , but if it's the standard rate.

The driver will struggle to cough it out, and it's your golden goose ( vehicle) that will take a beating unnecessarily.

By February things will pick up. No stress on you, the driver and more importantly the golden goose.

Thanks a lot
