Why not call on Jesus? Seek Him in His Word. He is the ultimate healer. Trust me, it may sound almost cliché but He remains the answer. Why not take advantage of this opportunity to get closer to Him? Ask Him why this bowel issue has persisted. Get to know Him for yourself. There are things God is only interested in telling you. Even in the scriptures, none of the prophets (as anointed as they were) were given the information that the Messiah's name would be JESUS. Isaiah called him Emmanuel, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace; Jeremiah called him Branch of Righteousness; but only the mother (a virgin girl in Nazareth called Mary) was given that name first in Luke 1:31, then, his earthly Father Joseph (Matthew 1:21). Joseph and Mary were neither prophets nor apostles. Get closer to this God. He is much more interested in you than even just healing this bowel issue. God bless you.

Hello bro. Trust me, I feel for you.
Just from your post, I feel your pain. Truly I do.


But you are asking the wrong people. No one here can give you this ecounter. Only God can give you that ecounter.

The same way you came here to ask for it, go to him and tell him

Tell him you won't leave him to rest till you encounter him
Remind him of placed in his word where he said he will show himself to those who trust in him.
Remind him that he said if we ask we will receive.

Promise him no rest till he surfaces. If possible go on a three days fast. I assure you, he will come to save. It might not be the way you expect, but be will surely do something you won't forget for ever.

If I a normal human being can feel so much compassion for you....won't your father and maker feel much more?

Faith is what you need, Sir. Do you believe that you can pray for yourself and receive healing? It might not be instantaneous as you see on TV. Yet, you will receive complete and perfect healing. All you need is FAITH. How can you get that kind of faith? The Bible says, "So faith comes from hearing the message, and the message that is heard is what Christ spoke (The word of God, The Bible)". In order to build the kind of faith that will get you healed, this is what you'll do: Consistently study the portions of The Bible, where Jesus healed people either directly or through his apostles and visualise yourself as the person being healed. Get preachings on Faith, healing services/ministrations and constantly listen to them. Finally, The Bible says, "They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony". Constantly confess your healing. When you've built enough faith, you won't need to pray much and you'll notice signs of healing.

now let me explain my perception abt christianity. i read from a book by roberts liardon that christianity can either be a mere "religion" or a path to "spirituality". spirituality which is the actual path to the supernatural.

i grew up as a devote xtian in church which doctrine revolves around "religious" aspect of xtianity. we were told to follow the religious dogmas and live as a xtian gentle man.

i need supernatural manifestation of xtianity not just following moral ethics based on doctrines.
i wouldn't mention any church here but my spiritual ignorance is as a result of church i was brought up. i belive there is more to xtianity than holiness. there is greater aspect to the supernatural which the so called local churches wnt talk of.

i have alot of challenges i'm facing apart from the health issues. these challenges are so overwhelming that i have no option that they needed supernatural encounter.
i wish i could pray on my own and see miracle happens, but that is not the case now.
i've been to powerful crusades yet nthing happen.

some yrs back i happened to meet a pastor(a G.O). i could say he's so powerful owing to d testimonies from his church. i attended his church 4 few months b4 leaving ibadan then.
he claimed to have healed the blind, mad men and all sort of disease and i experience some live miracle frm him too.
i went to his office and he prayed for me(for the ibs disease). i experience instant change in the nxt 7 days. bt afta then the disease com back again. this discourage me alot that i started disbeliving the existence of 'supernatural' within xtiandom.

Listen to me. Have you ever heard of Affirmations? Its a form of prayer where you affirm what you want over and over again till it comes to past. Study all about it and start using it judiciously. You'll be healed in 2-3 months. The key is to make sure you follow the rules on how to write and make use of it. You have to make sure you script the affirmation properly. If you can trust me and do this no matter how stupi*d it may sound to you, you'll be healed. I say this from experience.

Believe me i didn't want to quote you twice but this post touched me. I'll tell you the truth, you are right. To unlock the secrets of the universe and use it to your favor and that of other people around you, you have to be be spiritual.. Religion itself is so far removed from spirituality you would think both are quarelling. Spirituality is the master key to the universe. If you understand God to an extent, if you understand the universe He created and how He created it (actual story of how the universe was created, not what religion says), if you understand how He runs the universe including the laws He put in place to guide the universe, then you have real power, power enough to heal yourself and perhaps heal other people too just like your pastor did for you. The journey to spirtuality is not easy. You might encounter things beyond you, but as time goes on, its gets better then it gets so awesome you'll look back and be happy for where you've arrived. I know a book I can recommend to you but it's not for the faint hearted (i.e. people inexperienced about spiritual matters) so you need to start small. First, google "spiritual laws that guide the universe", google "the law of attraction". These will prepare your mind for indepth spiritual knowledge. Read "Think and grow rich" by Napoleon Hill. This book will show you how a spiritual knowledge was put into practical use for the purpose of getting rich (though that might not be of concern to you but it serves the purpose of cementing your believe in the spiritual and removing some doubt about whether prayers actually work. They work when done the right way, and I can tell you that most people do it the wrong way). When you are through with those one, read this book "Meetings with Remarkable Men" by G.I Gurdjeff. While at it, you can read "The Kybalion" by Three Initiates. It's very short so it won't take time to finish. It talks about some spiritual laws and spiritual hierachies. Ever heard of The Order of the Rosy Cross (Rosicrucians)? Read their teachings on Sundays or your free time (you can find their teachings on google. They have a website). You'll learn a lot. They also offer healing service for free if you are able to get your letter across to them (they are headquatered in America). They prefer it written with pen because they believe it is imbuid with your essense. Just by touching the letter you've sent to them, they can know what it wrong with you (this is a spiritual knowledge), then their spiritual workers (healers) can heal you in the night while you sleep. They operate on the spiritual level so while they are there working on your body, you won't see them, but when you wake up, you'll find out that the problem is gone or that you feel much better. Healing can be a gradual process. After reading those books, read "Dweller on Two Planets" by Frederick S. Oliver (or Phylos the Thibetan). After reading these books, your mind would be better prepared for what is to come, the grandmaster of all spiritual books I've read: "The Secret History of the World" by Mark Booth, it even talks about what will happen in the future. It starts with explaining exactly how the world was created and how human beings evolved (including the spiritual aspects of the evolution), then it talks of the spirit worlds and spirit beings. It also talks of Mystery Schools (eg Rosicrusians, Knights Templar, etc) and how they helped shape human evolution. You'll learn a lot from reading this book but your mind's got to be prepared first because you'll read from this book a lot of things that will sound strange, things you have never heard before. In all these, know that God exists, Jesus Christ lived on earth, as well as some other prophets like Mohammed, etc. The book will teach you all these. Spirituality is a continuous journey where you keep on learning and learning. May God guide you my brother.

Miracles involve entities (spirits) with higher intelligence, and power than normal human beings. Because their intelligence is far above that of normal human beings, what they do we refer to as miracles because we do not know what they know or how they go about what they do. You give orders to these spirits to do your bidding and they do it, whether it be healing people or doing other good things that people may consider extraordinary or miraculous. But you can't give these spirits orders just like that. There are specific ways to control them. Its a long story and you need to first be grounded in lesser spiritual knowledge like affirmations and learning how to use them properly before thinking of learning how to do miracles. If you do not believe that affirmations work, then you equally cannot believe in miracles or their effectiveness. You have to start little then progress from there. Your pastor knows that affirmations work, but he probably didn't teach you guys how to use it properly. Let me ask you, if you owned a church and your church is your major source of income, you know that if you teach people the knowledge you have, people can begin to heal themselves and no longer come to the church for healing (which is where you make your money from), will you teach them? There are geniune men of God out there but there are also the selfish ones. The world is not what you think it is. A lot of lies, misconceptions, manipulations, etc going on in the world. It takes someone who is ready to dig deep to see it all and be free from them. That's why I don't attend church till today, but I have read a lot of spiritual books and I deeply believe in the spirtual. When I can, I study the spiritual. Last but not the least, I try to live an examplary life the way Jesus did. Am not saying you should stop going to church. Am saying you should seek to understand the spiritual whether through the church or outside of it, as long as your source is authentic and good with good intention of helping you, not harming you or deceiving you. Even in the spiritual circle, there are people who behave like some religious pastors.

i've read the works of napoleon hill, the kybalion(there i got to learn d hermetics principles). i read a book by rhode bryne "the secret". in sort i've read some basics of "new thought" teachings.
so from some other sites, i've read the basic teachings(epignosis). teachings that may b deemed improper in this thread.

It is not wise to trust in man. Yes, I know you have faith. But place it in God, not me.

I will pray for you tonight, and I believe the Lord will speak on your matter. Have faith that He will heal you. Do not be afraid. You will be fine.

But also, listen to the advice you have received from others. Move closer to God and let your trust be put in Him.

I will send you a message here when/if the Lord speaks to me. I have strong faith that He will speak.

i can't ascertain if the cause is spiritual or not. but judging by the way it starts, i have the feeling dat it is spiritual.

it start on september 22/23 2018, then i went to write my p.ume in u.i.. waking up in the morning i used the toilet 5 times, i used drug yet to no avail. on getting to the exam hall it got worse, that i ran out 7 times consequtively. thank God, exam never start by then. by the last time i ran out, i met a lady who saw me and pray 4 me. d disease stop for the 1:30hr i spent in d exam hall. finishing d exam, it came back again. though i never made d admsn then.
d worse part is dat d disease become so acute wen ever i want to do exam. the jamb and p.ume i wrote the following year, same tin occur, though nt as tough as d first.

d disease has no physical impact on my body. i'm nt dehydrated neither am i lean.
bt bro i don suffer...

You have to first unread these books you cited. Most are demonic and open the door for possession and oppression by demons.

You need to go to a Bible believing church for deliverance. Reading such books has opened door to the enemy.

Right inside your deliverance process, your ecounter will definitely come.

now to my point, there were messages i heard from some prominent 'new' nigerian preacher, which is quite different from my xtian background knowledge.

i got to learn abt spiritual dimensions, activating spiritual laws. new, new grammar borrowed from greek or latin. also new spiritual teachings wich is outside d scope of the bible yet they clain that they were taught by the holyspirit.

there was a certain teaching i heard dat push me to rigorous research then getting hold of those books.

ok the teaching was that. the pastor said that God created man with five elements of which are ‘earth’ ‘fire’ ‘water’ ‘sound’ and one other name like that. He even backed it up by some scripture and I was wowed.

This got me curious that I went to the net for the source of that msg and alas, I got it. It was actually these occultic teachings . I got to a website that elaborate it for me. Coming down to nairaland I got to be exposed to most of those things.

I do listen to one of those preacher who said he sees angels physically on weekly/daily basics. And I was wowed by his prowess. Having read a lot of xtian books, hardly have I read such an amazing encounter. But as nature would make it, I stumbled to a thread here on nairaland. There the writer(spiritualist) go to explain that it is practically impossible to see a spiritual entity with one’s naked eyes except he opens the third eye. I was wowed.
Once I listen to any of the so called powerful messages that is revealing the deep secrets of the spiritual realm. All I do is to note down strange words I heard and go research them.at the end of the day I got to realize that most of them had their sermon from occultic origin. I never label any pastor as occultic, but I think it’s good to be smarter.

Now I had a man on my Facebook page, he was once a so called powerful Pentecostal pastor until he woke and exposes the manipulation of the so called popular pastor. You can view his page on Facebook to ascertain my words. Charles awuzie”. He is so much influencial, though he was once a prophetic teacher, a missionary to mention few. I guess you will say he is a backslider but go to his Facebook page to understand better.
All these and much more makes me weary of so called church. For the few months have been trying to build myself in a personal relationship with God.
Don’t judge me by the book I read.all I wanted is result.
Who ever could tell the types of books all the prominent pastors are reading yet condemning the masses from reading them. In as much as a book can cure my problem, I can go any length to get it, but if he no get side effect ooo.

more so, if u cn download dis buk "how to pray effectively" or "the power of the mind" by pst chris, nd then download napoleon hills book(think nd grow rich) or rhode bryne buk(the secret) ". now compare and contrast them. u would see dat d message d pass across abt spirituality is almost THESAME!
bt d teachings of both rhode bryne and napoleon hill are clearer. yet they are new age teacher.

now wat u called "occultic" teaching is already pervading d sphere of xtianity.

mind u their teachings are neither demonic/satanic but rather philosophical.
it's obvious dat people ar afraid of wat they don't know. jst b open minded to atleast scan through those books dat we label demonic.

now bro, according to your perspective on those books, let me share u my view.

i told u am a devote xtian believe me, i rever the bible as the best holy book.

i've been to churches and listen to messages most esp those from the nigeria "english" churches.

now to my point, there were messages i heard from some prominent 'new' nigerian preacher, which is quite different from my xtian background knowledge.
.
i got to learn abt spiritual dimensions, activating spiritual laws. new, new grammar borrowed from greek or latin. also new spiritual teachings wich is outside d scope of the bible yet they clain that they were taught by the holyspirit.

there was a certain teaching i heard dat push me to rigorous research then getting hold of those books.

ok the teaching was that. the pastor said that God created man with five elements of which are ‘earth’ ‘fire’ ‘water’ ‘sound’ and one other name like that. He even backed it up by some scripture and I was wowed.

This got me curious that I went to the net for the source of that msg and alas, I got it. It was actually these occultic teachings . I got to a website that elaborate it for me. Coming down to nairaland I got to be exposed to most of those things.

I do listen to one of those preacher who said he sees angels physically on weekly/daily basics. And I was wowed by his prowess. Having read a lot of xtian books, hardly have I read such an amazing encounter. But as nature would make it, I stumbled to a thread here on nairaland. There the writer(spiritualist) go to explain that it is practically impossible to see a spiritual entity with one’s naked eyes except he opens the third eye. I was wowed.
Once I listen to any of the so called powerful messages that is revealing the deep secrets of the spiritual realm. All I do is to note down strange words I heard and go research them.at the end of the day I got to realize that most of them had their sermon from occultic origin. I never label any pastor as occultic, but I think it’s good to be smarter.

Now I had a man on my Facebook page, he was once a so called powerful Pentecostal pastor until he woke and exposes the manipulation of the so called popular pastor. You can view his page on Facebook to ascertain my words. Charles awuzie”. He is so much influencial, though he was once a prophetic teacher, a missionary to mention few. I guess you will say he is a backslider but go to his Facebook page to understand better.
All these and much more makes me weary of so called church. For the few months have been trying to build myself in a personal relationship with God.
Don’t judge me by the book I read.all I wanted is result.
Who ever could tell the types of books all the prominent pastors are reading yet condemning the masses from reading them. In as much as a book can cure my problem, I can go any length to get it, but if he no get side effect ooo.

At the end of the day, a religious fellow will say “bro what you are doing is against God’s will”. True??

Bro I'll support what Nnamdiosu said. You have to "unread" those books. I'll share a short story about me with you. I grew up in a pentecostal church and was very fervent with God (I had revelations from God constantly). Gradually, every love I had for God died before I was done with high school. I became interested in occult mysticism and because I had a voracious appetite for knowledge, I consumed every material about occultism that I came across. What I didn't know was that those books and audio tapes were opening up portals for demonic access into my life. Though I got some occultic experiences and powers then (ability to cause havoc to perceived enemies), it never satisfied the thirst I had for true knowledge and experience of The Divine. Eventually, I stopped practicing but the spirits I had invited never left me for a long time, even after I started going to church again. I felt enslaved and had neither will nor power to do the things I truly wanted until I met Jesus. First, God wants to work in you, before working for you. I don't like recommending pastors cause they're all humans, but listening to David Ogbueli (Pst) helped me understand truly, the mind of God and some of the things God used to talk to me about when I was younger. Maybe, get some of his preachings on God's covenant and you'll get to see that most of these miracles you see on TV, you too can perform them, especially in areas of personal healing.
Knowledge is a two-edged sword. Be careful what you take in. Satan won't go spreading word that he's the source of that knowledge.

well, to my knowledge all books have read as regard our talk, have really positive impact in me.

visconson recommended the kybalion to me in the post above. i've read it and i will forever read it. it has impact my life positively. it helps me to overcome the dreaded lowself esteem and introvertness.
most of d best motivational book writers make use of the principles in d book. for instant the popular author of "eat that frog" , brian tracy. mostly use these principles in his books. what am i saying. go for d good side of everything!
can good thing be wrong if it is done in a way dat contradict ur view?
