Zidane199:Cause it's a lie. Lawyers are buried by their family members or relatives, and not by any judicial body. So why would any sane individual bury his family member facing downward for the sole reason that he/she is a lawyer. The legal profession is bedevilled by a number of false rumour and this is one of it. 5 Likes |

That’s a lie. I’ve been involved in the burial/funeral rites of a senior lawyer I personally knew, well attended by his professional ilk. I was also at his grave site where he was finally derobed and his gown and wig handed over to one of his biological child as they described the symbolic rite. He was never buried face down. May the souls of the faithful departed continue to Rest In Peace. 2 Likes |
