Nigerians kidnap themselves and use themselves for ritual - they blame Buhari; Buhari isnt to be blamed here.... onus is on Nigerians to fix their money hungry culture..... theres hunger in ukraine and poland but they arent using themselves for rituals over there....

Nigerians cant follow simple round about or traffic lights or just barely follow it - they blame buhari for it.

every country has bad roads....in canada for example, when it snows, drivers slow down.... in nigeria, drivers overspeed on the bad stretches of road and blame buhari.

Nigerians learn to blame yourselves for your woes.

if kidnapping was due to poverty, they will not be asking for 50m, its GREED so they can drive fancy cars to impress girls..... nothing more....

The painful thing is that the same Nigerians go on and willingly vote a clearly incompetent Buhari to lead them knowing very well he has zero capacity to lead well and now want to turn around and blame him for bad leadership cheesy

- Why do tenants refuse to pay their landlords their annual rents and seek to stay in property for free? Is Buhari the cause?

- Why are Nigerians unkind to themselves and mostly seek opportunities to take advantage of others? Is Buhari the cause?

Critical thinking helps guys.....

This is a blind, myopic, senseless, saltless, jejune and illogical post.

A Leader is the aggregate of it ts subjects. It is the duty of a leader to set standards, institutitions, modalities and policies that will define boundaries, terms and conditions of his domain.

These standards and policies will in turn give shape and define the culture, norms, ethics, discipline and peculiarities of the people.

It's right of children to cry to their parents for needs and wants while the parents are expected to meet those demands. Buhari is synonymous to a national parent while the masses are like the children.

It's unfortunate that he is mentally, academically and socially unfit to govern us. He's too archaic.

This is quite unnecessary.

In Nigeria, we have political, religious and traditional leaders, and they all play major roles in setting standards, and strengthening institutions. Buhari is just one of our political leaders. He is not even our only political leader.

These standards and policies will in turn give shape and define the culture, norms, ethics, discipline and peculiarities of the people.

You are right. But this is a collective effort, and not that of just the leaders. That is the point the OP is making. Buhari has his own faults, but we have our own faults too. You can't blame Buhari for the indiscipline of someone flouting traffic regulations. The United States spends a lot on enforcing traffic rules, but still people break traffic rules all the time in the United States. Are you still going to blame the United States governments for not teaching people how to be responsible?

It's right of children to cry to their parents for needs and wants while the parents are expected to meet those demands. Buhari is synonymous to a national parent while the masses are like the children.

But parents don't always meet all the demands of their children, however hard they try.

It's unfortunate that he is mentally, academically and socially unfit to govern us. He's too archaic.

Perhaps, you are right. But what the OP is saying is that there are things which we should claim responsibility for instead of blaming Buhari.

What you have typed up is half correct. It is correct literally. But the leader you speak about should be state governors. What you have typed apply to state governors. The fact 36 state governors are not meeting expectations suggests defectiveness.

Exactly you got my point. Politically there are state governors and councillors these guys are more able to quickly effect change than Buhari. Of all the councillors why hasn't any been desirous of making their council great rapidly? It can't all be blamed on one man (Buhari).

Buhari alone can't make the economy better. It's extortionist Nigerians that head most of the institutions that are holding the economy back from getting better. It's the Nigerians themselves. What of the 36 governors?

Exactly.

One way many of us have failed politically is the way we channel our grievances.

Many of us don't even know the names of our councillors or even their offices.

We just blame Buhari for everything.
