Good evening house, Please can anyone confirm if it is possible to apply for a graduate certificate course with my HND certificate in Canada? If yes, please can you advise known universities that I can apply to? Will I also need to evaluate using WES or send the transcript to the school directly. Thanks in anticipation |

Good Day House, Please, what happened if you get your study permit late after the program in the school has started.... Please advise Hi Bro, I applied late Nov along with IELTS & MyBank Statements off the bat. I did not get an NSE request(perhaps as I have already applied with both documents upfront along with medicals as this was my second application). My eligibility review has been on for 3 weeks or thereabout. Would it make sense to send both IELTS & MyBank Statements again, this time via webform or email and ask that the application should go through NSE route? Its been more than the 20 days processing time.
|

oluswaggz:Hi, Yes you can apply to a Graduate Certificate program with your HND Certificate. You best bet is to apply for a Post Graduate Certificate program in a College, not a University For Career/Academic progression sake, It's gonna be better if you mention - What you studied in your HND? - What year did you graduate? (To address education gaps) - Do you have Work Experience? If yes, how many years work experience do you have & does the work experience relate to what you studied in your HND? Your response to the above questions will determine programs with schools (colleges) you can apply to. You don't need to evaluate your Transcript via WES to apply for Post Graduate Certificate program in a college, you all you need is; - a Student Copy of your Transcript (Not statement of result) &, - HND Certificate 2 Likes |

lentomac: Thank you so much for your response. I studied Computer science. I graduated in 2015 and I have about 4 years experience as a Technical Support Engineer. For clarity purposes, will I be sending just the HND certificate and Transcript? Is the OND not compulsory? Looking forward to your response on the best option for colleges/courses. oluswaggz:You are welcome, Ok, since your work experience relates to your HND in Computer Science, you can go for a computer science related Post Graduate Certificate Program, google the following programs & visit their websites for their Admission Requirements, International Tuition amount etc. - PG. But who never can tell , one the above schools might require you to send your Transcript & Certificate to them. - I don't know if it's only your HND Transcript & Certificate that is needed, probably Polytechnic graduates in this forum can confirm if you will also be needing your OND transcript & certificate for admission in Canadian Colleges |

It was a two year MSc program. But I finished (1yr 4months) earlier by taking more courses each semester. You can actually finish a two year program in one year. But for the sake of getting the 3-year post-graduate work permit, it is advisable to do at least 1 year 4months(i.e at least 4 semesters) ramobiojo: 2 Likes |
Goodmorning. Please I was filling the IMM 5257 form and question 3 has UIC. I understand its a unique number for all applicants and since I have applied before I should have it. Please how do I get this number? Also, I was refused visiting visa 2019. Reason was I did not truthfully answer all question, there were other reasons but this particular one pricks me as I had plans of birthing but didn't declare. Filling the study application now, I have declared my refusal in 2019. My dilemma now is.. how do I give detail explanation on this refusal knowing well that I concealed the birthing part and my son's details is captured, that I gave birth that period I had stated as my travelling period |

use a dollar card, you can find someone that has one if you don’t and you either fund the account with dollar from the black market or give the person the naira equivalent. I heard access bank naira card still has a higher limit but not sure of this Iffylove: |

Morning, everyone. PLEASE KINDLY HELP WITH THIS. Can someone suggest a way I can tackle these issues until I get my notes? Should I get my sponsor to pay my tuition fees and transfer the required 10,000 CAD? Also, how much does it take to get a gift deed? I'm trying to acquire a land from my parent in order to tackle personal assets but I don't know what to do. notkenny: |
