Nairobi county is tiny but infastuctural development is vast(only south africa in Sub-Sahara can beat it) .

The laws in Nairobi will not allow you to put any bulding anywhere you want, Nairobi is guided by zoning law.

Nature is also part of Nairobi development, you can not just consume plantation in the name of setting up a bulding. That's why their are recommended area for office constructions and other tall buildings.

It's the same way you can't find any tall bulding in some areas like karen, runda, kitisuru, Muthaiga, kileleshwa, lavington... e. t. c.

Nairobi is basically under tough jurisdiction bound.

A bulding which was to be tallest in africa
never materialized since it was to be constructed at uhuru part, by that, good amount of trees were to be cut down but guess what.............?
