The existence of God will forever be in contention because of our insistence on empiricism. But there is something close we have that can give us hints about God; the system called mother nature.

Nature is whole system of the existence, arrangement, forces, and events of all physical life that are not controlled by man.

Nature is a life giving force. Nature is pure, beautiful and simple, yet complex and chaotic. Seasons, cycles, rainfall and sunshine amplify her beauty. But Hurricanes and tornadoes show us her power to be ruthless and chaotic.

You know what else possess these similarities?

Women!

Women are nature personified. They possess a nuturing spirit. They are warm, tender, beautiful, attractive and at the same time, destructive.
Women also go through the process of seasons and cycles like nature. They blossom and fade like the trees, they experience seasons (menstruation), and as plant life and oxygen are grown from the soil, human life starts in the womb of a woman. The womb of a woman is often described as the most sacred place on earth. Women feed foetus in her womb just as mother nature gives food and water for all living things. The ecofeminist ideology highlights the similarities between women and nature.

The problem
The chaotic state of nature was a big burden for man. To ensure a calm, purposeful and meaningful existence, man created order. He created laws, created authority, loyalty, marriage, submission and other mental fabrications. All these mental creations were as a result of the many independent adventures of man in the wild. His experience is why he is often regarded as a thinker. From his many adventures, he was able to create a society for himself.This is why man is seen as a symbol of culture just as woman is a symbol of nature.

But in the process of creating of these concepts, women were excluded. Men made all these decisions without women. Marriage is a good example. In the creation process of the concept of marriage, women were not involved. Men decided the rules of marriage, men decided that women become the cleaner and home manager. Infact, men gave women the name "women". Women were completely excluded in the creation process of society. Women were made to follow orders and live how men defined them.


Man is loyal because of his experience with the chaotic state of nature. The concept of brotherhood involves trusting your fellow men to the purpose of achieving a goal. Men have experience with loyalty and trust because they've been trusting each other on the battlefield for eons. They've been trusting each other, taking turns in securing their village, protecting women and children. This experience has instilled in men, the sense of duty. But this is not so for women because she has no experience. She has has always been under the care, protection and direction of men. She has barely been by herself. Women were forbidden to go into the jungle or forest. In igboland, women went to the stream in groups. It is rare for a woman to go to the stream by herself.


The major problems with marriage and romantic relationship between both genders

1. Man has experience with loyalty because he's been running a system he created. A system rooted on honor, agreement and loyalty; the social contract. But he expects loyalty from women, who have very little experience with loyalty. The little experience women get on loyalty is gotten through childbirth and motherhood.

2. Man has succeded in taming women with a system he created, but Women were not part of the creation process of this system. Therefore, it is natural for women to rebel against a system they didn't create. The feminist struggle/ideology is justified.


3. Man must agree and accept that women are nature in flesh. They are chaotic, brutal and ruthless like nature. Like the hurricanes, like how the lion eat the sheep. Men must accept this and stop having expectations from women. Men must stop demanding that women follow a man-made order because nature is the highest order.


In all, man created a system and he's suffering from that system. He created a system and forced women to go against nature, now he's suffering for going against nature. Men today are crying because women are being women. Because women no longer follow the order of men. Because women have embraced their chaotic nature. Look around, the internet is now littered with articles on the red-pill movement. Men are even dying because they expect women to be loyal. Man created a system where he has to give loyalty to a woman in the form of servitude, protection and providence. And he expects women to follow the same system and reciprocate the loyalty. This expectation is the root of his suffering.

I watched the movie "I am woman" and I saw how long it took American women to be recognized in society. Every day rallying and carrying banners just to have the privileges men had. The song "I am woman" released by Helen Reddy in 1972 was what woke them from their slumber, it became their anthem. They played the songs in all their rallies and campaigns.

And the song was inspired by constant rejection from the male folk when Helen was pursuing her music career. But after she released this song, it broke records, because it explained every struggle women were facing then. That was a stepping stone for women's liberation in America. With the help of constant campaigns from notable women, the bill was signed.

What's my point? It's going to take more than online essays and articles for African women to be recognized in this patriarchal society.

And I doubt if they're even ready. The freebies they receive from men won't let them open their eyes and see what is wrong with them.

maltreatment is exclusive to all, it can be melted out to anyone, even a child is not left out, hence why i said earlier its more of a personality thing not gender based. Its myopic to think maltreatment & disfranchisement is limited to the women race only, whatever you tryna insinuate have it @the back of your mind there are positions & jobs men are also disenfranchised from, however what really influences disenfranchisement boils down to gender role. God allotted roles to a man & woman, men just built on it.
