We had same issue ooo. I went to the bank this morning to cuz wahala bank told me UKVI didn't contact them for any check na there my eye clear.

Got refused last week Friday that my financials statement is not genuine as attached.. I guessed the scanned and upload financials was not clear enough. The specific bank's name was mentioned on my dependants refusal. I contacted both bank I used ... They where furious that they never confirmed from them before making decisions.

Although I was given the right of administrative review but.... Trust me... It's infuriating and frustrating as I did priority to meet up with school resumption.


I was advised to use My Bank Statement Portal(a direct link of sending financials between the bank and embassy) with Both banks when I appealed.

Appeal has been done.

God has plans though �

For real? Could they be using bank as excuse now when they want to issue refusal or not sure about something?

you can print your statement again for additional documents when you are appealing but ask your Bank if they have My Bank Statement Portal. They will send your financials to embassy directly. You will only upload the system generated code for embassy to open your statement. I think that is safer than unclear statement upload that leads to unnecessary distrust.

Yes, I am. Classes are online for now until mid-February. People move around when they have to and no one stops them. I haven't started looking for a job yet (putting that till next month) so I really don't know about part-time jobs.

I have paid my deposit but I have the tuition balance in my husbands pounds account

But The living expenses fund is in my own account ( applying as a family).

Should I covert the balance to naira and keep it in the same account as my living expenses ? Or move the funds to my own pounds personal pounds account?

I don’t know how to calculate it...because they’d only charge you when you want to speak with a Representative, but the Automated voice message is free.

I callled twice and they charged me £10.52

The First Lady said, I should wait till next week Tuesday if nothing I should call again...I wasn’t satisfied I called the second time this one had empathy and told me a Decision has been made and she’d escalate it immediately.

Hope you know it just a call centre you are calling , probably based in India and not even based where your case officer is . You are just enriching the Home office with no added value to your application. Your application will still take the exact same time ....so Everyone relax, the visa will come

just calm down,it will come.a relative paid for super priority in same Abuja on tuesday and didn't get collection until 12 noon on Friday. That's over 48hrs o while the believe is that SPV is 24hrs.
