Why nah! Is it all women that go to altar. Reinstate her now before I report to PMB.

Besides, if you try to investigate, it is the big boss that impregnated her o.

Why are you misinterpreting my verdict. You spoke about men pregnanting women outside Wed lock I said they don't carry it to work so how does it affect them unlike the woman who carry it to work. With her condition maternity leave will be issued to her but on what ground, outside Wed lock? As a police personnel civility should be exhibit by the lady. Now you are sayin something completely out of box.

You try wey you Dey follow the babe converse o

This ill treatment towards women should stop.
Value Female Network should look into this.

Unmarried male police officers impregnate young ladies everyday and they don't get sacked.
This is exactly the emacipation feminism is fighting for. In a cunning way they have cornered female officers to by force marriage even for those who do not consider marriage as their forte will have to marry just to have a child.

It's a good thing the law has been repealed, she should appeal her sack. Just wondering for how long this law has been hindering female officers who want a child but don't want marriage before it's repeal just last year.smh.

you couldn't argue with facts of sexism hence you ended here. I have always thought your idea of feminism is ok but seeing this today, nah nah. You are just harboring hate hence you allow it cloud your judgement, you just can't see the fault of a woman, she is always right because she is a woman.

These rules were on ground before she came into the force, she was told, she accepted and came in but end up flaunting it and expecting a tap on the back. She should have rejected the job if she can't comply, but you have to support her cause she is a woman.

As a woman, you can flaunt rules at work and expect everyone to kiss your ass.
You said you are a police officer and you know better. So what else ? Mine is to contact Value Female Network to report the matter.

Lol how does being married change the fact that a woman is pregnant and will need a few months off work while retaining employment? What's the inherent connection, they are both still women and pregnant except one is married to a man. Also how does being impregnated outside wedlock translate to "uncivility" I'm pretty sure if you look far back enough in your family tree you'll see tons of your ancestors weren't formally wedded to the fathers of their children.
To each organisation their rule, you can tolerate your housemaid getting pregnant on your roof or your young workers getting pregnant but the police says they don't want it, so that one na your concern

The signal originated from the Department of Finance and Administration in Ado Ekiti and was addressed to the Divisional Police Officer at Iye Ekiti where Omolola is based.

Finance and Administration ?

This is terribly wrong now..

Did the unmarried male police officers you are referring to get pregnant? The law is clear on the matter. Much as the law is unfair and wrong, pregnancy interferes with their work. Try employ a female into your organization and let her get pregnant(when not married) and you will understand. Everday complain! The emphasis here is unmarried female police officers. Why twist the narrative?

That one no be talk abeg.
Getting pregnant or wanting to have a baby is not an exclusive right for only the married.
That particular rule should be removed as it is baseless.
Nigeria keep upholding law like a country operating in the cave men era.

Didn't u read that it has already been repealed. But the force still went to apply the old laws. She should fight it, she would win

Sapphiere I don't know how you want to justify the action of the police woman. I am for human rights and all that but you have to also know the nature of your work place. Nobody is asking her to be a virgin or celibate but don't get pregnant. Is she the only single policewoman that have sex?
