My brother has been trying to pay his IHS surcharge fee since morning, it keeps saying technical error. We don't know if the issue is from IHS website or paga. Has anyone paid IHS fees today?

Besides, can I go for standard if I have ample time, say about 6months before course start date?

Have you tried registering on paga?
if not please do,it's the best available option else use forex card

Used Paga @382/$ — 820+k

Then I paid Priority Service £220 @635/£

Secondly, pls o, at what point do they send refusal mail, I’m not praying for one though just want to allay my worries.

If you have enough time then save your money for life in the UK and apply for standard

Each fee be it maintance allowance, visa, added priority or IHS na separate seperate. Each person has it own bill

What is your tracking saying?

The same day it was been transferred to VAC...if you live close to your TLS, just wait for 2-3hrs and go there even before the tracking says received. They might have not updated it.

From my days of studying this forum...Normally, they make decisions within 3-4 working day after Biometrics...so Decision mail or non-straightforward mail and I believe refusal mail too drops the 3-4th working day, if you don’t get any you should be parking your bags.
My visa started counting on the 20th.

But I’m very surprised to hear someone here who got refusal mail after 10 working days.
