sound comes from the throat, if the scientists could get the thoracic bones then they could figure out the frequency of sound that come from such throat, but before they use such theory on extinct animals such as dinosaurs they would have tested such on the existing animals by matching the frequencies of sound to their thoracic bones.

Firstly, sounds has little to nothing to do with bones. Its the soft organs that determine sound frequency not the bones. Those soft organs are not preserved in fossils!

Secondly, it's one thing to know the frequency of a sound and another thing to know the pattern. For example, do they roar, grunt, bark etc?

Personally, I do not believe the guy landed on any moon.

Many will call you a conspiracy theorist but I haven't found enough reason to believe anyone travelled to the moon.

OK, but note that the bone shape, which will be the only preserved part, can give the indication of the size and shape of the soft tissues it is to contain and together with the bone in the neck, the rib bones could also be used.
Scientists know many things not by actually seen those things but by inferring from what they could see that has a link (or interaction) with what they could not see!
By just observing the footprints of animals, left behind millions of years ago, scientists could determine the weight of the animal, whether the animal was running or just strolling, they could calculate the speed at which the animal was moving, hence they could determine whether the animal was a runner or a slow moving animal!

I think with the aid of science and fossils gathered..
