My guy don't fool urself
Dem no reason u be4 dem build these universities

U're a lower class
And ur pastor no send u
Keep lauding their multi million projects
Then come deh blame govt for u being unfortunate
You need to stop talking senselessly about 'what u pay' and realize what students pay in both private and public universities is a function of what they end up consuming and what other parties pay on their behalf. If fees paid by students was used to influence the rating of schools then be rest assured that no american university will rank above abia state uni or Benue state uni, gboko campus...lol. The principle of pricing for non profit services is simple. All the components used to facilitate that service are bundled into the final cost before the one receiving the service is made to pay for it. Public schools get hundreds of billions of funding annually. Private has to shift that part to the beneficiaries of the services they offer - the students. That alone can account for a difference of about 500k in difference in fees of private and public unis.

LOL.. you seem to have a problem with private schools.
Universal basic anything is bad... government do not provide the best schools... private schools do.
Those schools in the UK that are public, majority of the students are from private primary schools same with Japan and China. The chance of public school students getting in are low because private schools equal best teachers. All the schools you talk about you STILL have to pay tuition so they are not TRUE UBE schools donkey lips. They are public schools that only well off parents with money can put their kids in.

Same with hospitals. Private hospitals are far better than government own hospitals.

You seem not to get it.. governments can only pay for so much... you are focused on one or two universities that the government spends majority of it money on to look good on the global stage while they put little to no money in schools that really need money.

You simple can not see the forest beyond the trees.. simpleton.
Thank you. Anything public is always tilted towards equality. They are structured to carry along as many people as possible. That means the tax you pay and the one the man next door couldn't pay because of low income is used to fund your child's education and the next man's child's. That brings quality and cost of accessing the education down. That's why our public schools have to depend on crab mentality to boost their public ratings. They do it by denying some brilliant students their grade in the hope that when they go for further studies, they will appear to be performing above their grade level. The primary purpose of education gets easily defeated in the process.

God bless you my brother

These people run to private schools cos of easy admission
E sure me say this guy trying to school me went to one Fed poly like that cos his real daddy could not afford private Christian schools
But now he speaks highly of the school he could not attend with the knowledge he got from the one he criticizes now
badman007:

I used to be as ignorant as you till I got my British citizenship, mama Charlie Registered my son and paid me millions to attend university.

The half baked education you received should not be based on the money In your fathers pocket or social connections.

I blame your ignorance and stupidity on the substandard private schools and special centres all over Nigeria. It’s the same reason Graduates can’t fix simple road or provide portable water to my oil rich village in Niger Delta.

Not bad building an established whatever it is, citadel. But when people of average income can't bet subsidised payments or its not affordable, what then is the proof of faith?

As for motive, we won't expose inner details least the kingdom suffers disrepute in the process. But the spiritually mature should weigh the motives why we consistently avoid spending a penny to take care of the needy even to ministerial level but spend zillions on cement.

It's only a place of reasoning the spiritually free and mature would ponder over.

May their Kingdom remain forever. Not at shading against anyone. But the motives the motives. May God build His church

God bless you for speaking the truth my brother
PaAdu02:
As a Christian, I will argue mildly here, someone called me from Canada over the weekend, we discussed n he told me about a whopping grant he won to provide portable water in his community in Ondo state, he won it on merit, from an organization. He's expecting another $40k.The poser here is this, can't pastors send half of this money to charity courses, and people win on merit, the big n gigantic projects only favor the rich, ones that have embezzled . It's more like competition these days. The Nobel Laurel that Soyinka is known for was part of a legacy someone left behind in Europe years back. Buildings can't be termed institutions, build in human institutions, as charity and such, but Ego is eating deep into Nigeria system, unnecessary rivalry.

Half baked literate
What are the best Universities in the world you mentioned? How do students pay their fees? How much did majority of their students pay for primary and secondary Education?

You read all these books without understanding simple things in front of your face.

Education in the responsibility of Government. The half backed education you received should not be based on the money In your fathers pocket or social connectionS.

Every Nigerian child deserves quality education.
UK has 98% Literacy Rate with fantastic student loan system and NHS that works but Your oversabi.... Please

Even after your small research, you struggle to understand simple UBE concept, how do I explain Universal Credit and why your life should be more valuable than cattle??

Hate has so much consumed you, you contradicted your hateful self without realizing it. If the UK has a loan system then it means they are being educated on credit and not for free.

First, you must know that I am not countering your opinion. But I also must let you know that, beyond being in the industry, I am also a Research Student in one of the Premier Universities I mentioned. I have been into research and publication for about 5 years through which I have carried out (and carrying out) my advanced degree.

I worked with, referred to, and reviewed a lot of leading research works in Engineering (Materials) from local researchers and I if I must state in fact, then I must say that, Covenant university has not had any mention in any citable work that worth the salt. That is my own observation.
You are a daft liar.

U're a sick fanatic
Education someone cannot afford
Tell me how many of his low class members can afford this

Can all taxpaying citizens afford public schools? You logic has failed. So you expect what 90% couldn't do in the hands of the tither to he done with 10%? Wow . . . it shows your level of wisdom.

Shut up I better pass my neighbour empty vessel daddy’s baby...

Your sense would have been valuable if public primary/secondary schools functioned better in Nigeria. Your life wouldn’t be any more useless if you didn’t go university.

What is the value of all that money your dad wasted? No light,No water. Still no schools for children.

Have some sense. insist on compulsory, quality UBE for every Nigerian child
