To be completed in the year 2022. The way these people have shifted goal post several times over this project, heh? It's taking too long to complete. If resources are properly managed in this country like it's done in China, completing this project shouldn't take three years. Nonetheless, I hope they keep to their new deadline. It will sure be a pleasant sight to behold when it fully comes online. 2 Likes 1 Share |

One of the few projects in Nigeria that are absolutely critical. One of the few projects the Federal Government should be a major stakeholder in because of its strategic importance. One of the few projects that is a certain game changer such that when complete will change the face of Lagos forever and make it habitable once again. Great job. 1 Like |

Simplyleo: Lol. Jakande said his greatest regret in Nigeria’s political process is cancellation of the Lagos Metro underground rail system by Gen Buhari. Lagos Metro Rail should have been functioning since the mid 1980s. Kwontinue. 2 Likes |

I have no issue with this project. However the whole grand 4th mainland being planned for years since 1999 to me is just a waste of time. It makes no sense that people can enter boat from ikorodu to cms, ikorodu to ajah and ikorodu to apapa and there's absolutely no way Lagos state can think of linking those routes via a bridge since 1999. Ikorodu to Island on water in some cases is less than 40 minutes and Bayeku in Ikorodu to Ajah is even shorter. Why can't they do that since 1999? With that you automatically have another way to link mainland and island or am I missing something sir naptu2 ? You can please give your opinion on your thread anytime cos I don't understand why its not being done . From Ikorodu to island by road you have to go through Ikorodu to Ketu then link oworo then third mainlanf bridge then island when there are places in ikorodu like bayeku that is extremely close to ajah and those small boats do ikorodu to island in 25 minutes and even faster in the case of bayeku to ajah. Some have even argued that the fear of doing the single bridge to link ikorodu to island is because of the negative effect it may have in real estate on the island. I dont just get it. 1 Like |

This kind of project is unattainable in Nigeria. Is just an avenue to embezzle. Train from Onikan to Badagry is just too much and too lengthy . Even FG will find it difficult to do talkless of state Government. Well kudos to the State GOvernment. 1 Like |
