Sentiment aside, i don't know how on God's green earth Chelsea paid £75m for this lad.
I watched the entire game from the kick of the ball, Havertz couldn't take on any wolves player cleanly, he ran into the box often like he was a center forward.
This mercenary was supposed to be a 10. ( playmaker), someone who creates goal scoring chances & entertain us with his dazzling skills. I hope those making a case for him by denigrating Mason saw how impactful Mount could be. In his cameo appearance, he created 2 clear- cut scoring chances as against the other who played the entire match with nothing to show forth.

Only one creative midfielder in the mould of kdb that can unlock defensive team is all the team needed and the team will be complete. Havertz is never the player to offer that.
He is not just ready yet.

It's same problem lampard had and tuchel is obviously gonna have that problem too cos it seems everyone park the bus these days against top team.

Tuchel was even lucky rudiger stopped the sweet counter attack that could have snatched victory for wolves.

As for havertz, the boy more needs a lot of time to mature, probably somewhere else before joining big club.

The pressure and politics at chelsea will crush him if he continues this way.

He'll come alright. The signs are there. Objectively speaking of course

One concern I have though is Chilwell. His interactions with attackers are poor; Doesnt know when to make quick passes, When to cross, When to switch positions. He's part of the reasons Pulisic has been underwhelming

The 3-4-3, coupled with the choice to play many experienced players, was to get a result. Avoiding defeat was the most important thing today, and I guess he felt the experienced heads were the best bet.

I think he will go back to 4-3-3, or maybe 4-2-3-1 later. And I don't think CHO will bench James in the long run. I'm guessing his choice was due to CHO's pace.
