Leicester City won the EPL in 2015/16 season cos the big teams had a massive deep in form. We are in a similar situation this season, but because it is Ole we shouldn't hope. Their is still time to do some late transfers, let him get a dm and a striker in as Cavani cannot play every game, while Martial and Rashford aren't so reliable. Let him also stop this rubbish Bruno/Pogba midfield combo, and return to the tested and trusted Bruno/McFred combo with Greenwood, Rashford and a better striker ahead of them. Pogba and Martial should be starting from the bench going forward.

When Leicester won the league, they beat opponents with determination, it shows how ready they are to win the title.

Being realistic doesn’t stop you from planning well, improving your squad and winning trophies. Liverpool were realistic that they were not the champions that they were 30 years ago.

That’s why they took stock of their situation, planned well, and executed their plans and then backed their managers as much as they can .

That is because our defensive line became higher this season. We have played majority of our games this season with a high defensive line compared to last season. It's the reason why our loss to Totenham was scandalous with a high margin. We started the game with a high line, after the red card, they still continue with the high line. Meanwhile, Maguire and lindelof are slow as fvck for a high defensive line.

If you watch most of our games, most we are always getting caught on the counter attack, compared to last season.

My conclusion is that, Ole needs a McFred combo to successfully play a high line, as most if the games we've won majorly involves the two.
If ole had stopped his useless experiment trying to give everyone game time and had stick with those two in midfield our goal concerned would reduce a bit.

I have always been vocal about the lack of coordination in our pressing game which affects the way we defend. When our attack press, our midfield will just sit behind behind and watch them and where our midfield pushes up to join the press, the defence maintains a low block which they shouldn't...It's only in a few games that we have gotten it right and most times it's when Bailly starts...

Having said the above, you can't discount the roles of the defenders themselves as no matter how coordinated your press is, the opposition will definitely get past it 2-3 times per game and that's where the coordination of those at the back comes to play. I'm sure you will agree that Man City and Liverpool have the best pressing game however, prior to the signing of Dias and resurgence of Stones, City were conceding at a rate unbecoming of a title contender thus they had to plug that gap by signing a top CB...

In Manchester United's case, most of the goals we have conceded have more to do with school boy errors from our defenders and goal keepers...With such errors, no matter how coordinated your press, you are bound to suffer once the press is bypassed thus our defenders (especially our CBS) have to improve else we will keep conceding at the same rate...

Those top defenders lfc and City signed will go on injury and the team still won't be drinking goals like that. Our defenders have more defensive work to do than other defenders in top clubs. Check out defensive stats on the epl website, you will see that City and LFC defenders are almost never featured in the top 20 for each defensive stat.
