Why are you insistent on asking a foolish question?

Were the accusations of corruption on Gej based on TI reports? No.

They were based on barefaced pilfering, looting and stealing witnessed on ground not based on some "perceptions" from a body not based around the shores of Nigeria.

Answering this foolish question really hurt but I had to.

U still haven't answered d question:

"Are u saying that buhari and APC supporters were ignorant about all this in 2015 when they were making noise that Jonathan was corrupt and buhari was a saint that will wipe out corruption from Nigeria?"

This Buhari administration looks like punishment. Hunger, insecurity, poverty, bad roads, corruption, tribalism, nepotism, bias, selfishness, love of money, fulani herdsmen wahala, boko haram, kidnapping, armed robberies on major roads in broad daylight etc
It is punishment.

Right now, one of the funniest things in Nigeria is watching the CBN fight against bitcoin.

It's like watching somebody fighting the air.

Nigerian govt is so archaic, it is sickening.

Hehehehe

You must think you're Jesus Christ or even Joe Biden to think that the biggest challenge I have in my life right now is answering this thrash you call a question.

My point is made; Never mistaken a fall in TI corruption index for an increase in corruption.

At least have that much sense not to.

Forget the long write up....its simply because "NIGERIANS ARE CORRUPT"
Simple honest truth, but they love to blame their neighbors, everyone in Nigeria either loves the church, or mosque, so it is hard to tell who the real criminals are.

Sure President Buhari should come & stop your Father from stealing from his work place? It is the President’s fault that your Mother sits @ home & tells her colleagues to mark her present at work? Try get common sense, the index report indicts us Nigerians, not President Buhari. Go & tell the Oyibo people that carried out the survey that the President is corrupt but you & your family are clean, just watch them bust into laughter as if they just saw Roxy the Clown.

6. Not obeying court order.
7. Bastardization of the judiciary by the Governors and president.. Giving SUVs out like ... angry

The last hope of a common man

8. Corruption in the public sectors: Top officials in the Nigeria civil service system are very corrupt. Favouristism, looting, misuse of government properties and selfish interest is the order of the day. Some of the ordinary civil servants too tend divert government funds and properties to make ends meet.

9. The citizens dont trust each other on the course of business. Everyone is cautious of being cheated. Nobody is to be trusted.

CORRUPTION REIGNS SUPREME IN NIGERIA

CPI doesn't measure the actual corruption in the country it just measures the public opinion on corruption and more corrupt cases have been exposed so people naturally assume that the country is gradually getting worse when it infact it is the exact opposite

Help us understand what you mean by exact opposite. Why are more corrupt cases been exposed? It is because corrupt cases are on the rise with pace

Rubbish.

Is there anything mentioned here that wasn't happening in this country for the past 30 years?

It is called corruption perception. Most people don't even know this;
It doesn't necessarily mean that the country has become more corrupt..

Why the corruption index rises is that corruption activities are making the headlines much more than before.
That is due to Moore exposure.

The number of corruption cases with the EFCC and in the courts is unprecedented in the history of this country.
The number of EFCC prosecutions and convictions is also unprecedented in our history.

A lot of people are so ignorant, they didn't know how this corruption index works.

You based your point on the aspect of financial crime in Nigeria that alone doesn't makeup corruption. Read through that article again and see what was listed there.
