Fake Alerts and Rider Scam:

I don't reject transfer except if you are going to the airport or Lagos island. But you MUST agree to wait for confirmation before I release my bank account details. The only confirmation I care about is the one from my phone.
N:B there are exceptions though; if you are sitting in the from and I follow the whole transfer process from A-Z.

These tips could help-
1. Try to have as much account from different banks as you can.

2. If a rider asks "which bank", reply with "which one are you sending from let's see if I can save you some transfer fee?"
The idea of saving them transfer fee cancels the perception of being rude. An average rider believes they are better than you.

3. If you don't have every other bank, try to have Access in your toolkit. From experience it delivers alert swiftly.

4. If a rider starts to tell you how his Benz is costing him serious money or how he just bought a car for his girlfriend. (You know those kind of unsolicited gist) BE ON YOUR GUARD.

5. If for example a rider trip is from Agungi to Chevron and on getting to Chevron you are pitching going to Egbeda in the next couple of hours to me. Bros, I can wait for your alert for the next 45 minutes. Don't get greedy.

6. Don't get greedy, if you are waiting for an alert and 2.4x surge enters am not leaving without seeing your money. A bird at hand... And it takes an average surge more than 5 minutes to vanish completely.

7. To minimize waiting time for payment confirmation, of you are not a fan of bank App be sure to have internet banking. They let you know what's up even when text alert delays.

Guard your money guys, you worked for it. They are not doing you favours.

Or maybe he has some offline customers that pay him big money. I know a guy on hp too who pays 30k but he doesn't work most of the days because he has some big boys customers. Sometimes they travel and spend a week in hotel. Only God knows what they are into. Any owner-partner that put yoke on driver-partner neck should just know that anything can happen any time any day

Big money, big risk

Those are most likely yahoo boyz. God forbid, any day EFCC bust them for hotel will be the last time he sees his car. Unless after months of impoundment he will now cough up like 500k

I have no idea how the algorithm works, but every experience I've had with a rider requesting me in my car,the ride has always been given to me on Bolt, both on the Mainland and Island....So,reading about such closest ride being given to another driver sounds strange.....
You sure say baba no dey quote tye wrong person so?

The middle price is what I always go for, although most times I do test the riders with the highest price and funny enough they accept. The times I take a riders price is if rider is going my way and I am done for the day.

However, something strange happened in the Fadeyi to igando bus stop trip (see screenshot). Riders price on this day initially was less than 4800 which I accepted since rider was going my way but app declined saying that the trip should not go below 4800. After several attempt rider changed her price to 4800, apparently the app refused her to go below that amount.

Sometimes, I think the app imposes prices on the riders.

Yes na, haven't you try making a request in Indriver b4? Even you'd noticed during the festive seasons Indriver hiked fare (surge). As you try to make a request in Indriver it will tell you "this is the normal rate for this route but you can increase the amount to get a driver quickly"... Something like. So the app won't even bring up a fare amount of N100 for a 2km/4min trip for an example.

I quite agree with you on the bolded because fadeyi to igando should not be more than 2.5k. So I was quite shocked when I saw that price, even more shocking was babe wanted to pay with clitocurrency. Told her I don't mix business with pleasure. Drama!

A little observation..

If He/She transferred with the bank app, you can go once it's successful and He/She got debited.

But if it's USSD code transfer, please wait till you get an alert or confirm that the money have reflected in your account.

80% of failed/reversed transactions were done using USSD code. I've strictly observed this. And I've never seen a successful App transfer reversed yet.

The more you know about the vehicle the safer you will be. Run a VIN check and verify critical facts you need to buy a used car with confidence. Check the title status, previous odometer readings and the current market of the vehicle. Do as many checks as possible to ensure you are getting a legitimate offer.

The problem about picking the middle always, is you are going to miss 80% of trips, if not 90%.

Good day to all Honorables in the house.

Please I want to go into e-hailing by March, I need answers to some questions that have been bothering me.
1. Is it still lucrative?
2. I do use military belt and stickers on the car I drive now and that because I come from a military family. Can I use it the sticker and military belt for the car I want to use for e-hailing because believe me it helps me alot from law enforcement harassment.

grin cheesy I didn't drive today, after I saw all the stupid price and how drivers jump on it, I gently find my way back home to sleep. Yes! There's winter, but not enough reason to slave oneself. Drivers or riders r not the ones that determines price on Indriver again, it's the app itself and riders just stick to what they see. Today I was draggin price with one rider for almost 5 attempt, voom one driver snatch her, if only drivers learn to go with the middle price, the rider will have no choice, it doesn't have to be me... but what do I know, someone is ready to go to Island from Mainland for 1400.

There are always 2 sides to a coin. Some people will gladly take that amount if they have closed for the day and the rider is heading towards their homes, rather than blowing empty or waiting endlessly for another request

Yes to both questions, if the car is yours and if you have a military man you can always call regarding the belt and sticker.
In fact, GUYS will feel safer with you seeing the military peripherals in your vehicle. But no dey do gragra on the road because of that oooo.

And be careful, dont let guys use you do illegal operations because of the military tag on your vehicle.
