Update From . COM A staff of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, identified as Effiong Joseph has been electrocuted, Reports. It was gathered by News Crew, That the incident happened on Thursday afternoon, January 28, while the deceased and his colleague, one Michael Udosen, were trying to reconnect an armored cable that had earlier been vandalised near the language laboratory of the institution’s town campus. Effiong died on the spot while Udosen is still unconscious after being rushed to the University Teaching hospital for treatment. The day I stopped tampering with electricity was the day iron shocked me and I was looking for who hit me with a plank cos it seems someone hit me with a heavy plank... Back then at agro villa, I remembered the day I was connecting light in the rain... You know how you hook your wire to a dry bamboo tree, bend the edge of your wire and try to hang it on electric pole.. Let me not say what happened but since then, I promised never to try it again.. Sooo sad. They must be from their Electrical department. Theory is different from practical  When a doctor makes a mistake, the patient suffers. But when an electrical engineer makes a mistake, he suffers. To other students around, being an Elect-Elect student automatically makes you an electrician.
