Hmmm

Not bad

Sadiq is not a bad option either
I even forgot Terem Moffi, I will prefer Moffi over Simmy, again, because of what he brings to the attack, powerful left footed 9, just like Lukaku. I don't think there is anything special about Simmy

If it's for friendlies. Fine. But I doubt if we will have one. Not heard of any for now apart from the Benin and Lesotho games in March. Maybe one will pop up when we get into February but for now, none.

And if Vic gets injured again after missing action for 2month and 11 days since his injury in Benin vs S/Leone, then we go fly go Edo go find out the root! Say wetin happen?!! grin

andrewbaba44:

Alright ooo

I meant so just because of friendlies, dont know if there will be anyone

Didnt mean so for important games

I hope he doesnt get injured again

And yes we all know victor is very important to the team

Sadiq Umar is really good. Once he makes the step-up to La Liga, I believe more fans will appreciate what a talent he is. As tall and lanky as Onuachu and Simy, can play Target men like them but he is wired differently as he is more mobile than both combined. Sadiq is a special case.

Nigeria boast such central attacking options in Osimhen, Onuachu (Africa's highest Goals banger in Europe right now), Sadiq, Moffi, Simy, Iheanacho and even Maja yet My Friend Chriskels (bcoz of his Ivorian wife) will tell me that CIV has quality depth than us. grin

I beg to disagree.
Simmy has scored 7 goals in 19 games this season, while Moffi has scored 5 goals in 14 games this season also, and don't forget this is Moffi first season in europe top 5 leagues, unlike simmy that has been playing in Italy since 2016

Okay My Good man, let me see... I already dropped something on Godfrey Stephen Bitok yesterday.

Off my head I can recall...

1. Bright Osayi Samuel - QPR to Fenerbache

2. Sunday Faleye - FC Wacker to Dukla Praha (Czech Rep)

3. Dennis Emmanuel Bonaventure - Club Brugge to FC Koln (loan)

4. Henry Onyekuru - Monaco to Galatasaray (loan with option to buy)

5. Leke James - Molde FK to Al Qadisiyah (Saudi Pro League)

And just today, Jesse Sekidika secured a loan move from Galatasaray to Konyaspor. Till the end of the season.

Meanwhile I don't know if you guys are aware that Sadiq Umar has been nominated for the January Player of the Month in the La Liga Smartbank League AKA The Spanish Segunda.

He made the list of top 3 candidates.

Despite playing in a Segunda Division team, I think I will chose Sadiq over simmy because apart from goalscoring which Osimhen and Onuachu can do, Sadiq adds assist to his game, unlike simmy
so Sadiq Umar is better than simi? because we talk about Umar more or what? Simi has assists too. Onuachu, simmy, osimhen, are our choices now, moffi might replace simmy.

This season makes it 3 seasons simmy will be playing in the Seria A and the best he had gotten was 7 league goals, same he has scored this season already.
Crotone is a much bigger club in Italy compared to Lorient in France.
Moreso, my decision isn't only based on their goal scoring prowess, but their style of play. Lorient plays like a Lukaku and we presently doesn't have such striker in the SE, but simmy plays like what and who please?

Yeah, I will pick Umar over Simmy any day, anytime. So for me, presently it's Osimhen, Onuachu, Umar and Moffi.
I was hoping for Maja at the beginning of the season but he hasn't done anything worthy this season, same with mumv Iheanacho

To play for Italy no be moi moi ,this is just simmy second season in seria A don’t make it look like he has always been there ,simmy has just spent 2 seasons in Europe top league

With simmy recent small form he will score more than 5 goals in 14 games in the so called farmers league according so most of you guys grin

This is simy 3rd Seria A season and not 2nd.
Simy was a starter in the 19 games he had played this season but same can't be said about Moffi in his 14 games.

Playing in Italy isn't special anymore, unlike when Seria A was known as a league of good defenders and brilliant defending. Nowadays you see teams like Atalanta, Lazio, Inter, Juventus, Roma, Napoli and even Sassuolo and Sampdora scoring 2+ goals per matches, unlike before.

I just watched simy highlights again to be sure of my assertion, 90% of his goals are goals worked for him and 99% of these goals were scored inside the 18yard box. No individual brilliant goals, no running at defenders, almost all his goals are goals that any striker can score, including you.

But you see Moffi, from aside the 18yard box, he forces defenders, bully defenders with his strength, run at defenders and so on.
