Sorry for the refusal. I got refused today also based on the exact reasons, personal assets and financial status. I am self sponsor and submitted proof of fund of over C$70,000 both MBS and mutual fund as well as company documents but I did not attach any landed property. It is well Oghogho1313: |

Good evening Frankrobbn1, Chocs, Lekiboboe and other gurus in the house. Please i have a question and need your thought and experience on how to approach this. I have a friend who has gotten original passport request from IRCC on the 14 Janaury, 2021 so the 30 days grace given to submit the passport would elaspse February 13, 2021. My concern is she has deferred her admission from Janauary 2021 to mid year before the approval came on her application. Now my question is should she raise a webform to notify IRCC of this change before submitting her passport for stamping? or should she submit her passport first , have it stamped and notify IRCC afterwards? Having in mind that the 30 days grace to get her passport to IRCC is just about 14days from now. What do you guys think is the best approach to handle this? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Time2soar1: 7:35pm On Jan 29, 2021 |
Cuddles7: Thank you. Mybankstatement has about N6m with outflow of N23m and inflow of N28M for one year and the mutual fund of N15m. No lump sum. I have an incorporated company as the source of fund 1 Like |

olasubomy: There are people who deferred their admission to summer and fall before getting approval and submitted their passport to IRCC without notifying them of the deferment. Let her go ahead and submit her passport for stamping |

So sorry about the 2nd refusal. I think you need an immigration lawyer for this. It should be done within 60days of receiving your refusal if you applied from outside canada and 15 days if you are inside Canada. Lawyers charge anywhere from 3500-5000 dollars for this Service. Has two steps... applying for leave then if that is approved, apply for judicial review Before you choose Judicial Review make sure your original application has a strong case for approval.... So apply for your GCMS notes and ensure the visa officer refused you in error or did not review all the documents you sent appropriately This is the much I know. Any persons with more info can help out. IRCC link below might be helpful too https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/refugees/claim-protection-inside-canada/after-apply-next-steps/refusal-options/federal-court-review.html Oghogho1313: |

olasubomy: Bro please tell her to submit her passport and get it stamped . That’s the most important thing There’s a place where they will write the exact day she must enter Canada now . All other concerns can be treated with a web form When are you traveling or you don move All the best |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Cuddles7: 8:17pm On Jan 29, 2021 |
Okay...for the mutual funds, was it liquidated to show you have easy access to it? Cos I'm not so sure about using this (gurus can confirm please) since IRCC wants you to show unencumbered funds? Time2soar1: |

OBANLABAMIDELE2: Hello, According to your timeline, your application has not exceeded the normal processing period. Please be patient. No need to be worried. You can also decide to raise webforms to enquire about the status of your application. But generally I'll advise you wait. Please allow more experienced persons to respond. IT WILL END IN PRAISES IN THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME |

What is the minimum amount you should have in your account when applying for study visa. I see someone with almost 20m getting rejected on grounds of financial status. Study route is proving to be unpredictable, I was about to begin my application and realised I don't even have half of that to start with |
