For people who know, full ROM is most times better than incremental. If you know you know. If I were you I would download manually and install.

If Glo is good in your place night sub is ₦100 for 1Gb and you can do as much as you like.
before nko, that's what I'm doing. But i need the link.

I have not seen a full android update that comes as an incremental update in my 9 years of using android phones.

It is like a updating from Windows 8 to Windows 10 and you are avoiding the 3-4GB installation file. It is not possible.

As for RN9s MIUI 12.0.2 to 12.0.3 the incremental update is broken hence the full ROM.

I'm on 12.0.2 before this update of 12.0.3. I wasted a lot of data trying to update it, before I then decided to download the full ROM and update manually.

All is well sha as we look forward to the next update.

Just download the ROM and update manually. Don't waste your data with the OTA

I'm on 12.0.5 right now.

My update settings was on automatic update download so I guess it took care of itself.

Alternatively, just go to download latest package and see what happens.

Wanted to try for 12.0.6 but Glo dey mess me up. Battery drained like hell, battery was around 89% this morning. Took the screenshot some minutes ago. Check my battery stats details below.

So na to just wait small till I switch to MTN.

I actually upgraded to MIUI 12 this month, Jan. and the experience is quite ok, but some of the things I noticed about it are:
(1) My phone does not quickly with 5V/2A charger which came with d phone. Before the upgrade, this charger charges quicker than now.
(2) Seems the battery lasts a little less than before.

After tweaking ur phone, what MIUI version are u on now?
Did tweaking improve anything in your phone?
1) Miui is notoriously bad at fast charging on my device. Whether it's eu or global rom. Infact the first time i changed the rom on the phone, it was as if I bought a new device because my phone was charging 2-3 times faster

2) Battery will always degrade in time. I can't remember the last time I had a 10 hr SOT on my device.

After tweaking the phone, my phone isn't on miui again oo. It's like how xiaomi mia3 or android one phones look like.

This is the first time I'd be using a Xiaomi device(Redmi 3 Pro). It's cool and kind of odd when people ask you the kind of phone you Use and you say Xiaomi (most people do not know jack about it).
I just want we using this device regardless the model to meet here and share tips on how to get the best out of it eg. Rooting, unlocking, flashing, Upgrading, etc.
Please lets make this work and Shout out to @elijahdre for getting me this wonderful device.

Am I the only one who still doesn't have a sync button (on the control center) on 9s even after this 2.3gb update?

Ps: I've done hard reset many times.

Sync Button isn't on the control center. I don't have it on my phone and it is not something to lose sleep over.

No be everything be problem.

Actually it's very important for me I use that feature alot as i receive a lot of mails and need to have control over when I receive them, I want to be able to put my phone in battery saving mode and yet be able to switch on sync once in a while.

That it is not on the control panel doesn't mean the functionality isn't there.

A trip to your settings, Account and Sync isn't so much of a long journey.
