You are right. But then, Ake, Stones, Dias are average players, they are not the best defenders out there, and Pep continues to use them because he trusts his system.

Ole has not developed any player at Utd, he continues to buy players like Pep. One thing is to spend on players, another is to sign players that can function well in your system. We all know that Ole does not have a system, so I guess he is just buying players and hoping that they put on good displays every match day.
