OpenHeaven2019: I disagree with you on this. It is not a gamble. Anyone who has traded it long enough will know that. For most old folks, a significant percentage of their worth is in crypt0 with no regrets. Betece has been by far the best performing asset of the last decade The problem here has never been making profit, its keeping it that counts. For the guy that asked if he could borrow. The fact is that in current market conditions, one can likely double that amount in 2 weeks. The problem is that without knowing what one is doing, all that profit will be lost. A lot of new folks here see it as a quick money scheme. The unfortunate fact is that most would ultimately lose if the do not learn to manage risk. It does not matter if betece gets to 100k. Ask those who were here in 2017 how it felt. If you're struggling to make profits at such a time, then ask yourself what will happen when the market turns The bull market most are enjoying was cooked in a brutal bear market that lasted several years. During that time, most folks here thought it was scam. It is unfortunate but this is about the worst time to start trading crypt0. The bear market cooks you and makes you ready to reap and keep the money that new folks bring in the bull market. For example, old folks in the market are using the current microcap run to stash more eith and betece. New folks are jumping from top to top. When those take over and suck up the market, new folks will start asking, can I buy betece now? Thats when old folks will start targeting cheap altys. This market is brutal. Most think they can play the market but less than 5% do. 8 Likes |

The current bull market may lasts till October/December this year, this is the best time to invest in crypto. Meanwhile, alot of people, especially the new investors or traders would eventually got their fingers burnt. This is not a course but reality. The greatest gift or favour anyone can give you is his/her experience, especially on how and when to pull out your entire fund from crypto market in order not to be caught up with impending bear market. So, if you want to invest in crypto, please get at least a mentor who has witnessed previous bull and bear markets. 1 Like |

Sailor1: Very great advice here; and you’re absolutely right about 2017, even 2019, most people complained that 10k was too much yet they’re jumping in now at 30k plus As for doge, Reddit is waxing strong, and these guys are holding heavy. No be play play, on this thread I’m on alone, they’re holding a cumulative 50m in qoins, 50m is enough to shift things in that market. I have to say I’m feeling pretty good about it. The problem is once they begin to dump, the value is gone 1 Like

yemmit90: The truth is people are always going to say this is the best time to buy cryp. In 2019, I said same, in October last year I said same, a lot of people did too, no one listened. Now it’s approaching 40, everyone thinks it’s the best time. I just hope many are left hanging their nuts when it drops under 30. Knowing when to get in is tricky, knowing when to get out is even trickier This year is the year of Alts. 1 Like |

Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Sailor1: 4:40pm On Jan 31, 2021 |
AbdulJabbar1: Thanks... It's human psychology... Now betece is dumping how many are asking if they can buy? Hmm... I'm guessing those guys will regret that decision.. most sound new to this space. This space is not like the stock market where hedge funds were shorting stocks so they could benefit off them. Yes the price would go up if a good number buy nd hold but thats not the point. Whales would be monitoring such moves and once it starts moving, they can convert their betece into doge multiply it in minutes-hours and dump back on them... (Imagine 1000 betece converted into doge and dumped bach after a 50% move... That's about 500 betece profit). That's aside those who'd long it on the way up an make more profit. When it's gone high enough, they'd short it and profit on the dump down. I don't see how those buying and holding will benefit. The crypt0 market will humble them. I believe it may have an exit pump (if it's not happened already) and you'd see how it'd be brutally sold into likely before it gets to 0.8. They would eventually get tired of holding it and capitulate..... Like I keep saying, this market is brutal. |

Sailor1: Rippl with a nice rejection from the 0.5 level and bouncing off the 0.45 level as expected... If this level holds, it should take another bite at the 0.5 level and I guess break it. I had hoped to add a bit on the 0.45 retest or claim of the 0.5 level. But with betece doing its thing, I'd let it settle first and see if this is just a shakeout of overleveraged folks. Todays close should be pivotal Update.... The hourly candle on xrp turned out to be a nice one with a good bounce off the 21 MA (second chart)..... I'd be trading this against eith... Looking for entries on dips... And will cut if it fails to clear 0.5 in usd soon ish or loses the 0.45 level. Betece needs to hold though. I'm looking at converting 0.7 eith to atleast 1 eith and hopefully back in eith before it pumps.

Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by AbdulJabbar1: 5:13pm On Jan 31, 2021 |
Sailor1: You completely read my mind bro... No one is actually even talking bout getting in on B now that it’s dipping. And the b to doge entry is exactly what the whales did the other day & will definitely do within the next couple days, it’s simply business no emotion nothing; once their targeted profits are made, best to dump & exit. But you’re right about a huge number who will get burnt, most Reddittors are looking to dump it very soon doe once it hits, the downside is too many people now see it as a get rich quick scheme; nobody wants to be on the elevator while it’s going down, even if it means it has to go down before going up. |

Ifeanyi4491:abeg honestly nobody can tell when this goes up or down... I looked at the chart this morning after selling my Betece two days ago, I was tempted to buy ripple but I decided not to buy, having lost much in Betece the previous day. It was unwise to just buy ripple at this high rate of 214NGN, I envisaged a downward correction, but lo and behold it's waxing stronger. Now should one buy at this moment, because we may wake up tomorrow morning and see that it has gone upto 300+ or dipped below 200 The way this shit works is still quite unclear... When Betece hit 30k last year I was tempted to buy but I resisted the urge and alas five days later it grew to 39k.. who would have envisaged that? That was when I purchased the coin thinking it will keep on rising but no it started to drop rapidly. This market is really volatile and unpredictable. You could get lucky about your prediction or not. It doesnt matter whether you are new or old in the game. Bottomline is to go in with your head and emotions in check. Else you're going to keep losing money 1 Like |
