lovinhubby2wife: You're getting somethings wrong No one can say what betece would do the next moment. The only constant in this market is that everything is uncertain. Thats why day trading is very difficult and I try to avoid it. But to say that with time, one doesn't learn in this market is false. I make much more trading HTF so I stick to it. A 15 min chart will give alot of false signals. That's why it's better to look at the HTF. If you're stuck looking at the charts, you're likely to make emotional trades. I'd give you an example.. when betece hit 4k early last year, folks were scared but if you looked properly, you'd see that it was a huge opportunity to buy. It's funny you're loosing money in betece when it's ranging. I keep talking about patience. In the next 6 months, youd may be surprised why you were bothered about whether to buy betece at 33k or 30k. Let me ask you. Does it matter now if someone bought betece at 10k or 11k a few months back? The reason why youre here us cos betece is at 30k. If it was at 8k, you'd not be here. Another one is day trading. I keep saying it as a new person here, you should avoid day trading but the new ones are more keen on trading daily. Not to brag but the fact is that 99% will lose day trading. I was once there and know how it goes. Up till now, people still want to bjuy doge when those that bought the last are yet to survive When I took my positions in altys early this month. It wasn't a guess. I knew betece had pumped for sometime and obliterated altys. It was almost definite that money would flow into altys. It was obvious that eith will lead the way. When eith pumped a few weeks back, I told folks that smaller caps will cause wahala in the coming weeks. I sold some eith and bought up some smaller caps. Over the past few days that has happened. It wasn't a guess, it happens with every cycle. A few pages back, I said here that I bought some exrp at 0.24 when it dumped and I'm I'm targeting 0.4-0.6. i.e double. Today it has happened. Here, timing is key and knowing when to deploy new money is the number 1 risk management step 3 Likes |

lovinhubby2wife: As true as this is; one thing I do that works for me is, if I notice that I picked up on a steady rise early for example if early tomorrow am I see rip at 270, I have no problems buying at 270 because I can be assured that before the close of 24 hrs I can sell at a slightly higher price, it may not pump beyond 290, but if I can buy at 270 and resell at 275 I’m not doing badly. If after selling at 275, it drops further to 220, I can still get in again, only this time I would have a lot more value in rip than I would have had if I had sat it out. In layman terms. 100k rip @ 270 = 370.37 Sold @ 275 = 101,851.85 Buy again @ 220 = 462.96 rip If one sits out with the same 100k @ 220 = 454.54 rip I use this strategy a lot with all my qoins, it’s actually a major way I increased my portfolio last year. Sometimes I’m not concerned about NGN profits im more concerned about having more qoin values 5 Likes |

@luving, I'd give you a simple trade- a HTF one with less risk bit difficult to follow. We know betece is ranging and trying to pick a direction i.e up or down. (Don't bother about where it goes) Why not relax. If it dips significantly, you buy around 20-24k If it moves up, eith will likely break ATH convincingly. If eith does that and holds at least abouve 1500, it'd likely accelerate... That move will be another opportunity for altys to rally and your can take your pick of some altys and hold for a while. The thing is that when betece or eith moves up quickly, most other altys are quiet so you wouldn't miss much if you time your entry. It may take weeks to work out, but it's less stress and risk and you get to protect your capital. Can you stick to this or would you rather want to day trade and 10% everyday with a risk of losing much more |
Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by AbdulJabbar1: 6:48pm On Jan 31, 2021 |
Sailor1: The truth is day trading involves a shit lot of risk. It’s not advisable for a newbie. And day trading with the big qoins isn’t even advisable if you’re not trading block. Cuz you’d end up losing more. A major thing too is patience and understanding; as you rightly said many ran when it was 10k and all thru last year when it was extremely stable because last year was one of the most stable years it had price wise, the jumps weren’t ridiculous like this. A couple weeks back I kept pushing on Rip, many were greatly concerned bout their lawsuit rightly so, but folks fail to understand that the news and controversy is what stirs this market. I said then that I was going to go in heavy and I was ready to crash with it. Sometimes when the price dips I simply focus on exiting and reentering at a lower price so that I have more in qoin value that I did previously and I try to stick to qoins i understand, I no too dey experiment. 1 Like |

The risks in these pump actions is extremely high. Many will surely be dumped on and left with heavy bags. One needs to exercise caution and self-control when trading all these stimulated and pumped coyns. 4 Likes |

AbdulJabbar1: Bitcoin analysts usually follow the pattern since its inception. According to the history, bitcoin only surpass its last bull market stop in a bull market year, and it capable of giving more than 500% from the last stop. This is the reason some are predicting $100k before the end of this bull. Alts are not yet move at all, so we should be expecting over 1000% before the end of it all. Let just wait and see how things goes. 1 Like |

I'll definitely be snoring by then but congrats in advance to those that'll make money off the pump and sorry to those that will contribute the money 2 Likes |

Rilwayne001: Be careful out there...no matter what, exit with profit this time around.. I said it a while ago that an exit pump may come on doge... its happening and always more brutal than the initial pump. Except it crosses 0.08, I'd regard this as an exit pump and one to exercise extreme caution on |

JoelMurray2020: Hehehe... buying a coyn that has done 50% in a day comes with massive risks. Anyway, lets see how tomorrow goes. I have my bags packed If not for the current market situations, I wouldn't buy a coin that has done >5% a day |

AbdulJabbar1: hehe.. someone the other day said he held his mouse ready to click on sell... I smiled Someone has not seen 1000betece market sold before with a subsequent stoploss trigger cascade. Before your brain tells ur hand to click, the dump has already occurred. The easiest way on these is to take profits as it rises and add on dips... |
