As A Nigerian, Can We Truly Follow The Bible & Can It Be Easy To Get To Heaven ? by cheango: 10:23am On Jan 31, 2021
As a Christian, living in Nigeria. Have found it so difficult to practice what the Bible wants. We are born to an inherited corruption.
From school to our working place and businesses, I have seen its difficult not to cut corners.
Our culture is just corruption, and its hard not to conform.

Now, I understand that all of us going to church are not going to church to worship God, but for what we want Him to do for us, we don't love God

So am asking, will it be difficult to enter heaven as a Nigerian

Saying nobody love God in Nigeria is demonic, going to heaven is not by your works, it's a gift of God. Our self-righteousness are filthy rags.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Does that apply to heaven or earth?

Is death in heaven?

Applies to the afterlife which Christians generally/broadly refer to as going to Heaven.

The doctrine of afterlife is unscriptural the people of Christendom happily embrace.

2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

1st of all , the Bible says the kingdom of God suffereth violence and only the violent can take it by force, this doesn't mean a person should be physically violent and wicked nonono.. but means despite the fact the devil is out there with his evil works even trying to get those whom are righteous into sin with all his power, only the violent in spirit against the forces of darkness and those whom focus hard with the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to make the kingdom of God despite the noise of this world.. which means taking it by force..

And to correct you Nigeria is not the most rebellious country what do we have to say in countries where they legalize same gender sex, and gave women all the societal power.. Just that the difference is how things can get hard for a person in 9ja we no get correct connection.. so country is not an escuse not to make heaven... There are righteous people whom are saved with God's grace everywhere but might be few . God bless

Psalms 37: 29 says otherwise.

What do you have to say about it?

All scriptures are inspired of God. (2 Tim, 3:16).

You need this earth to be destroyed so badly that you missed the last part of 2Peter 3:7 that says it would be the destruction of ungodly people and not the literal earth. Yes we thank God for Peter indeed because the old heavens and the old earth is Noah’s day was also destroyed but here we are. 2Peter 3:5-6

Anyway, in Noah's day, God destroyed all flesh, all the nations.

You are noticed, thanks for coming but it says nothing of such.

2Pe 3:5  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

Bro, don't be misled.

Yes, there are those who will go to heaven.

But the majority will inhabit the earth...not this kind of suffer earth, a suffer-free earth without death. That's what Rev 21:1-4 is promising us.

Earth will become a paradise again. The same paradise God originally proposed.

God bless you.
