I bought 1.5GB data on MTN this afternoon. And I can assure you, I have only download Instagram on playstore. And spend about 1 hrs on Facebook, about 1 hrs on Nairaland and about 1hrs on WhatsApp. I hardly check WhatsApp status. I'm so shock this evening that my 1.5GB remains #500. The funny thing is that, I am not using only MTN data to surv the net. I dey also use GLO. So have not been using only MTN to surv the net.

I'm just so shock and angry the data I have left on MTN is 19mb.

Please what should I press to talk to MTN customer service line.

And again can this be reported to the NCC? Cause I don't believe have finish using the 1.5GB today. A data that's suppose to last for a week can't even use up to 10hrs.

I just minimise my phone so I go fit check if I watch videos on YouTube, I can't find YouTube on the apps I use today

I notice MTN hasn't been honest with data recently so I stopped recharging on my MTN. Currently using glo. It's fairer

They are also stealing credit.
You can't use their opera mini bundle to do anything, yet they are still selling it.
Their night bundle is a scam, once it reaches 50mb you can't use it again.
Now I don't even know if the Government have a share in the data bundle that i subscribe.

yours ia better at since you use it for classes. Me I spend the most if my time working at the office, the little time I spend online might be during a 30minutes break or when i close and still yet everyday i have to buy a gig. Thats when i have to even still go for hours without using tthe internet so it doesn't seem like i overspend buying 2gig a day. I literally do nothing online just Facebook and instagram, I don't even go watching those videos. I don't even follow any celebrity i feel they should be followed by kids and jobless folks coz they are too dumb for dudes like me.

You guys have been using the wrong data plan.
Subscribe to the 6GB for 1,500 weekly plan and watch your data problem disappear completely or reduce to the barest minimum

I notice the same I sub 300 for 1.5gb twice yesterday and after just just downloading 356 mb move and 30 min on WhatsApp it finished.

I noticed the same thing, as far as data subscription is concerned MTN Nigeria are major frauds..... Ever since I noticed how they drain data I only use them for night plan and even that they still look for means to cheat me.

the problem you have now is no proof you can get a data monitor to monitor your data you might be surprised you actually consumed that data. most times background apps do updates

I use mtn too bro , try to minimize ya data and check setting especially Goggle back up settings...
