DrAwo:Oga mi, don't know if you're referring to my post on HWF....... Well, Bigjay answered you right sir. As for HW, it's a penny stock and I know Nsempa old wines especially are not favourably disposed to it.......BUT, boss, just know I did some background checks on it before posting it here......and the word gamble doesn't really mean "gamble" in it's real sense, but to absolve myself of at blame from whosoever wants to take risk in the stock..........so he/she would know that risk is involved. ** As for Honeywell, the stock exited its loss position and now in profitability......going by the Q3 released result. ** It's a stock in consumer goods and the sector is performing well....... Covid-19 lockdown also helped the coy in launching into profit zone. ** If performance continues to improve, then the stock will likely continue its Northward movement. ** Also the gurus who can conveniently predict some of these stock were on sabbatical. So do you blame someone like me (and Megawealth) using the word "gamble" ? ** Also remember I'm a "daily market observer", sometimes some pre-market/market activities may point to something suspicious. ** Anyway, Mcy is not here because of oldbies, they can as well stay off my posts. 3 Likes |

Mcy56:OluwaMercy... How dare I refer to you? Not at all... I was just pointing out the state of things generally on the thread... I totally understand why everyone uses the word gamble. We are all trying to absolve ourselves of blame if things go wrong as they sometimes do... The word in itself just proves that there is a lot of speculation in the market now which is a sign of impending "financial endtime". The drumbeat being loud and strong does not mean that the dancers aren't tired... #Selah... 6 Likes |

DrAwo:Sir, reading this part again, I'll say I don't really understand it. What makes the dancers to be tired? Do you think the stocks are over-priced? Did you try to compare the prices before Covid breakout and the prices now? Did you factor in the companys' performances? Despite lots of challenges faced? To me, I dont think anything is out of place as it may seems. I stand to be corrected and will like to learn more from you sir. 1 Like 1 Share |

DrAwo: Sir, kudos to your good works, different strategies are rife in here....., I'm currently sitting on over 100% profit on all stocks I bought during covid saga Please help me and the house by announcing stocks that are overpriced as the reports starts churning in I still see a little steam in the engine of some stocks notably wapco grazing #40,zenith smelling 30 bucks, uba kissing #10 Cc All nsempa nembers 2 Likes |

DrAwo:I Just wanted to add that 2008 is different from 2021. I lost a lot of funds in 2008 so i have an idea of what you are saying. The guys investing in penny stocks right now mostly know what they are getting into, in 2008 we were just following the likes of Stockswatch buying up dead companies that had no office address . Genuine Information and Investing tools were scarce back then. Presently Selling or Buying is at the tip of their fingers. I think the market will never be complete without gamblers, If you look at the volume done on many of these penny stocks there is really nothing much to lose if things go south. Sir also consider the recent spate of inflation, cement was 2600 six months ago presently its 3600. These inflationary trend should Reprice all classes of assets including stocks. So i wont be suprised if we see the re-pricing of some stocks, i mean new highs becoming lows. (Though this is NSE where commonsense doesnt apply most times) Finally the Fixed income market is presently unattractive with poor returns, i think funds will stay in this market much longer. I also think the Bull will keep moving some stocks while leaving some behind but anyone expecting the Covid drop seen in March 2020 is on a long journey. I for one sold off my stakes months ago but there is no attractive fixed income investments right now hence i am back in the market putting some funds into WAPCO and VITAFOAM. 10 Likes 2 Shares |
