Please I'd like to know the criteria testmi used in shortlisting applicants after the first test cos people with low scores scaled through while some weren't invited at all. Will they still use the same criteria to select for interview stage?

Na wa for these group oooo, person no fit play with una chai.

After the first test, Testmi sent the list of applicants with their score to NCDMB, they worked on it for weeks and finally sent another list back to Testmi for another test ( some people didn't make it this time)...
Now after this 2nd test, they will repeat the same procedure and wait till NCDMB gets back to them for the list of successful applicants for interview...It's not a 2-3 days job...So relax..

Where have you seen any examining body leave the person who scored 80 and selecting the person who scored 40?? Unless if the process is no longer by merit...

The test is the criteria for the next stage (probably interview) where you would have to once again defend your scores either in front of a panel (or another test, but we nor want am sha..lol)...

You scored low, so chill and stop giving yourself and other people who scored low unnecessary hope...

Let them decide their criteria themselves...

And NO, i didnt score high

Guy...i have received reject mails in the past and i didn't die...so whether or not i get this it won't be the end of the world...

It's not a do or die affair. Keep pushing with whatever it is you do for a living. Speculations would not help anyone.
At this rate people here would get APL and would not post it because of some reactions here. Virtual exams would always have their challenges as it's mostly a new thing in this part of the world. It's a good thing they did not suspend the recruitment till after the pandemic (that seems unending). A lot of challenges encountered. Lots of new job opportunities come up daily, keep applying.. oil and gas job isn't the only well paying job.

Sadly some of us had low scores, others really high scores, some of us average. Some did better in first test than in second and others the other way round. No one knows the criteria. Patience is a virtue.
Let us wait and quit speculating. That way this thread serves the purpose for its creation. Vital and key information only.
And prevent NL from deleting this thread.

It's tiring when you refresh the thread and there's no new info. but insults and avoidable arguments.

83 percent 1st stage. 62 percent second stage. I was able to only answer 4 questions in the Situational judgement test .
For those that would come across such exam for SJTs with so little a time, just read the options alone. That's what I did and was able to answer 4 in just 2 minutes.

You're correct, most time it's best to just go to the option that portrays positivity. SJT in aptitude test is usually not graded. Just to know your kind of personality. It's deployed most times for time wasting. So move straight to the options and pick anyone which portrays positive personality.

This may not be entirely true for this test because some answers in the SJT were clearly wrong
