Unless there's a luck, even higher amounts are not being attended to.

I don't know why those banks give rooms to scam. These scammers have names, contact address, pictures.

If there's a complain, they should be able to act fast in order to curb scam.

If she's on campus and she still fell for that then I'm sorry to say, stop sending her money. She's not learning.

The scammers can still be traced through the mobile line used to call, but 20k doesn’t worth the stress.. go to the bank and block the details know to the fraudsters, to prevent another scam

She must be naïve for an undergraduate to give her ATM details to someone over the phone.

She must close that account and open another one.

I can't believe that people still the mumu with their bank details
Why not read the post before judging? He clearly stated it's her first bank account. She's a newbie to this entire scamming of a thing. The best you would have done is to be sympathetic.

Oga your sister money has gone, leave it to God. No be today, Most nigerians see yahoo boys and praise them. we praise thieves, lazy criminals. and give them nick names like G boys. it's quite unfortunate your sister was a victim. she should take heart and move on.

This morning, she received a sum #20,000 which is for her food stuffs on campus. Fortunately for her, the bank account is her first bank account to be opened and never knew how Security nums and ATM CARD NUMs work.
She received a call from this scammer(07045504107) demanding for her Security nums and others, she gave all to them. It’s all her mistakes because she never knew how banks work. Please any help to trace the criminal. And any help from nairalanders please. She has been crying since morning

If she is really your sister then it's also your mistake for not telling her not to give out her details to anyone.

That's one of the reasons you're older than her. The older generation is meant to tell the younger generation about things to avoid.

She should just forget about this account and open a new one.
Now that those criminals have her details, they will keep checking the account every now and then, and will not hesitate to withdraw every pen found in it.
The account is already porous.
