Go report to the bank's anti-fraud desk but I doubt much will be done in this regard.

Well, that money is gone. Those scammers are hardly traced. She's a newbie to banking system & it's so sad she had to learn in a hard way.

These money's can easily be traced.
It's been transferred to another party. If na online store, the bank supposed send mail to the store notifying them of the issue, all with the transaction details, if the store haven't despatch the goods paid for, they send msg to the person that paid for it to clarify some details.
If they had already despatch it, there is address attached to it. U trace the address.
If they use it in buying crypto or whatever, every crypto company Now have kyc form, all their details r there.
Our financial institutions allow these go on cos of their laziness. I bet u if they start working and trace most of these fraudulent acts by these boys, these crimes will be nip in the bud.

some guys told me they wanted to help me register for a business scheme. ..Sent me a code claim it my registration number that i should call it for them...soon my money is gone in Four alerts. ..total 81,000.
Went to the bank...they told me it was deposited into a sporty bet account. ..
Later i found out they used the code to acess my sporty account which i abandoned years ago...
I dragged sporty and they gave me the account detail of the withdrawal account of the thief...
I went to her bank but they protected her life a saint.
Said my bank should make the first claim of fraud but they wont.

I was even too broke to involve the police. ..

I created thread about bank internet fraud going recently, I even wanted to indict one person and use him as scapegoat but the handlers of Nairaland did not do anything to push it to the front page some where even shutting me up to mind my business, because it's not useless news related to Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniel, or dangote showing his butts shamelessly to the public , even snake thread move faster than anything here, and I must say, it never gotten to you that's why u aren't serious about it...
