Let her go to her bank ,to see if there is anything they can do for her. Meanwhile, she shouldn't receive any money via that account for now,because those bastards still have her details. She should report to her bank asap. Good luck!

Men this format done too cast for people to dey fall.....chai thats y men dem no gree retire........i was shocked 3weeks back when i saw multiple otps from ecobank entering my phone....i done already know say something weird done dey sup base on 1 n 2...done dey reason to block the account when the sweet call came in....the suppposedly ecobank customer care rep and manager began to speak.....we are doing turn around maintenance this 2021 ...we are crediting our revalidated customers with 22k....just tell us the otp code we sent to your number....i said ok but i know see any otp code ooo....oya resend am....they said i shld give them one minute....these guys get laptop for there begin resend the code then called me back....then i asked about my branch...oga no even know my branch...i jus dey laugh inside...baba jus dey happy cos i give am hope like say i wan call otp for am ..he now asked me to speak to manager...manager come even reiterate samething.......las las naim i tell manager say their bank na stupidbank n dis account na dormant account oo ...see as manager begin insult oo n sharpaly cut call....

Naa. When they see such stories or warnings online they don't read it cos it's not lit or what they tag as boring. If it's bussIt, Silhouette or twerking challenge they'd read every bit of the news.
She should report it to her bank and get her card blocked but the liability is on her, money is gone. Sorry

I hope she's not an omo get inside ohh cause that's another issue and I guess she's not a social media freak. please don't blame her. nobody is above the mistake as highly knowledgeable as I am in itc . could you believe they nearly wipe my account. I used a POS during my dads burial and the next day alert started coming from my phone that I bought this I bought that 75,000 through online shopping. Infact I don't believe anybody can scam me. but thru POS you can be scammed if you like be an intelligent officer. it can never be trace because you use many POS I went to my bank and they blocked my ATM and gave me another.

you money is not lost, yes can you hear me very well, that money is not lost. those same scammers are the one commenting forget the money, now take the following steps with patience,

1)write your bank a formal complain, attach screen shot of the transaction, keep a copy with you.
2) go to your bank fraud unit twitter handle, paste same complain attach the screen shot of the transaction, copy cpd and cbn,
3) write a petition to efcc, attach the a bank statement showing the transaction, attach the complain you sent to ur bank, go in person to efcc office follow all procesess and submitt the petition, they will give appointment one month ahead,
4) go to efcc twitter handle paste same petition with all the attachment and send it to them
Note: all possible information you knw about the scammer must be you petition, if you have a whatsapp chat with him before or after the incident print it and attach it.give the process time you will have your money back and the idiot will go face his sins.if it work for me, it can work for you, dont get court order, unless efcc ask you to.

HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED.

I am sharing a knowledge today on "Tips on how to retrieve your money after you have been scammed".

Please read careful and learn.

20% of social media users and shoppers have been scammed at one point or the other, either large bucks or small money and It's quite painful.

Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you:

1. Screenshot all previous chats across all messaging app (IG and WhatsApp or FB).

2. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.

3. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".

4. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank the scammer uses), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.

5. If you can, print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it.

While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng) this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.

What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank.

Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.

Just yesterday 1/2/21, I received a call from a scamar who claimed to be a customer care assistance from Diamond/Access demanding for my bank infos because,my BVN and ATM details have been put on hold that I should give him my real informations for them to work on it. Then I told him he is a scarmmer because 1) have not link my BVN with my Diamon/Access till now so,how come putting it on hold?
2) the account I operate with Diamond does not use ATM so how can you put it on hold? you better hold it till eternity cause I will not reactivate it because of you people.
Na so the guy end the call. I believe the bank staffs are involve in the fraud because he mention my full name well and he even asked for the banks I link my BVN with, he called me with 09130341507 but my true caller app.later shows me the name as BANK SCAMERS.

Sorry for the incident. It is a web transaction so the tracing is very very heptic. Sorry to say that currently (2021) no Nigeria bank will carry out this kind of trace. You can still contact them sha.

Report the number 07045504107 to the appropriate authorities to see if there is attached NIN

It's just 20,000. The process that you will go through to claim back the money would cost more than this and there's still no guarantee you will get back the money.

So your best bet is for her to use it as learning.

Now she knows how bank works .

This is one of the reasons linking of NIN to mobile numbers is a worthy call , as it stands there might be no trace of the little brat who finds joy in causing people pains
