I'm facing the same problem also. I've been going to the bursary as well as calling IPPIS on the phone but they always tell me that they have escalated my details to their payroll department. This is already one month now.

Has anyone faced this issue before? Pls advice me.

What? 39k? That's for how many months? Thanks wickedness. It's supposed to be 4-5months @ 30k each. This govt is a useless one.

I said it initially that issues go dey with sharing formula but somewhere doubted. I no surprise say some persons go get like 2,500 of 6,500 and some will not get at all. Some may even get recharge card or even airtime or MB to browse through the weekend. SMH. What a pity

In Unical, EAA was paid to non academic staff for 2012 only.u can imagine the kind of Union leaders we have.From 2013 till 2020, no shishi for us!

I will rather think that's the right thing they have done. For me, 6 months period would have even be the best. Trying to extend the period to accommodate more people will only make nonsense of the money.it pays no one. As the period increases, so the money reduces. Could you have taken 2,000 naira now or be patient to take 100k in the next release?...

Senior staff Sir. My colleague on the same level as I am got 56k. Another got 42k. Same level.

OK what month was your assumption of office. Cos what I just learnt is that the payment was made from Mid January 2012 till June 2012. Meaning of u assumption of office was early June 2012, you u will likely receive payment for only one month and if u resumed work 2012 July u will get nothing. This means people that were employed from July 2012 will have no dime. So even if u are on same level with u colleagues, you all have different assumption of duty dates. You can confirm from them and get back to me. They likely resumed duty before u hence thier higher EA. My thoughts though

The JAC strike embarked by NASU and SSANU is not a contestation between JAC and ASUU. There is no need for the denigrating post by ASUU members aimed at disparaging the strike action. I am alarmed at the tantrums thrown from each divide as to the relevance or irrelevance of one group or the other.

The educational institution is a system and must understand the functionality or otherwise of every part. The drafters of the workforce system for universities weren't blind when the different work layers were created. We must support ourselves to increase our bargaining powers.

Until we realise that our common enemy in terms of welfare of members is the government, we all will continue to demonize ourselves and beat about the bush in endless search of the solutions to our problems.
