As your very first project coming from a family member it's paramount you don't do short cuts especially for the foundation of the build.

I do business with many contractors and builder on this platform that never had opportunity to see me in person. Sometimes I will be on the site, they won’t know am the one that give them the job. For every project I handle, there are thousand of decisions to be made and I will never take a unilateral decision without the approval of the Project Director (Home Owner). So if it’ll take me so long to achieve that then there’s a fundamental problem.
