To the best of my knowledge and what I read from this thread. It is advisable for the main applicant to apply first to better chance and after getting TRV and begin your study over there, the spouse can apply for open work permit to come with the kids. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Lekiboboe: 10:21am On Feb 05, 2021 |
Rootiab:No its not okay, it's only when your application has Passed normal processing time you can send IRCC a message |

Hello everyone, I stumbled upon this thread while researching about Canadian study permit. I've been reading and following for about two weeks. I'd like to ask a few questions and I'd appreciate it if anyone could help. I'd like to know if it's compulsory to put my statement of account while applying cos I do not have any job presently and my dad will be my sponsor. I graduated 2016, Nysc 2017, became a jumia vendor for 2 years and presently not working but my parents are using my account as an extra account because of mobile banking as it helps them transfer funds easily instead of using cheque. I am 23 and would like to change careers. I applied for Bsc accelerated nursing into MUN and UPEI (studied biochemistry) which is 3 and 2 years course in both schools. Personally, I feel it's a good idea to change as I meet the perquisites for the course, however, while going through the last set of threads as regards this topic I noted where Frank was asking why he was applying for nursing after having a BSc in biochemistry and as such could result into refusal. So, I'd like to know if this could actually result into a refusal as I intend applying for a study permit soon. I'd appreciate it if anyone can help. Thanks |

Good Morning Everyone! It's really beautiful the updates we've been seeing recently. Someone asked a question two or three days ago but there was no response to it. I got the same update today and I'll like to attach screenshots to give a clearer idea of the update. I'll like to ask if anyone has seen anything like this in recent times, especially those who have been here for really long. I got the first two screenshots the first time I submitted my application. I got the last one today. I confirmed from someone else and he said the message I got today was the same he got when he submit. Does this mean anything? @frankrobbn @lekiboboe @justmellow. I'll appreciate responses from anyone with a similar experience. IT WILL END IN PRAISES IN THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME 1 Like

adefunkeadelaku:It all boils down to your Educational History/profile - Minimum of 2.1 is the requirement to apply for Masters in Canada - Educational Gap can be another factor , e.g someone who have bin away from Academics for the past 5 years or more might not be fit for a Masters Degree (based on VO) if you graduated with a 2.2, a PG.cert in a Biology related program is your best shot. Your Work Experience in teaching Biology is a boost to your Admission Chances 3) To your number 3-question on "Documents needed for Visa Application" , visit this link below https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/216#98756712 - About documents needed to secure admission, it depends on the Admission requirements of the school you want to apply to. Apart from conventional requirements like TRANSCRIPT, CERTIFICATE OF HIGHEST DEGREE & SSCE RESULT (WAEC or NECO), some schools do require additional requirements e.g Cover Letter , Statement of interest, Resume/CV etc. So check out the website of the school you want to apply to for more details on that You can await more opinions/inputs from other members & gurus |
