If they want to send money to your bank account in Nigeria, we recommend using a specialist currency provider, include WorldRemit, TransferWise, Boss Revolution, Xoom or MoneyGram
Boss Revolution and Xoom aren't processing money transfers to naija now.

I spoke to someone outside the country and he said that the Federal Government of Nigeria's new policies is making it difficult for banks to send money to those in Nigeria

Who else is experiencing delay in money transfer from foreign countries

We need to know what people are going through

Open a Payoneer account and get your funds in the sender's currency (dollars, pounds, Euros, etc).

However, you will have to open a dorm account in Nigeria

Afterward, you can go to the aboki on the streets and do business with them.

If you do automatic conversion, the cross-border payment company will cheat you because you will get it at CBN rate

Yeah I've been having issues with this too. The new law has made things difficult.
World Remit and Western Union are the options now but I'm honestly not a fan of both.

If they want to send money to your bank account in Nigeria, we recommend using a specialist currency provider, include WorldRemit, TransferWise, Boss Revolution, Xoom or MoneyGram.

According to our research @ ,
Thousands of people send money back to Nigeria every week.
With over 15 million Nigerians living outside Nigeria, everyone needs an easy and inexpensive way to send nairas back home to benefit family, friends and others.
People from Nigeria send around $20 billion back home each year.

This is even the best and right time to have more money sent from abroad.

After all said and done,
Wiseandtrue,
Maybe that someone you spoke to outside the country is not ready to send you shishi and only decided to keep scoping you... no be u again our darling W! wink

Show us where you get this your statistics from.
I just returned from a West African Nation few days ago, All the money i carried from there I could not send it back. I ended up buying Dollars at very miserable rates. Coming back, i took the money changed to Naira which made it even more hopeless.

I Seriously need to get a grasp of where you voicing this whatever from..

Is easy, use world-remit or azimo cash( dollar)pick-up or direct to dollar(domiciliary)account.

Note: you can no longer receive in local currency ( naira) except in dollars. The only changes in policies.

Sending money remain the same.

the charges of bitcoin is too much. like for instance the $100usd you will receive in Nigeria for 40kplus in NAIRA, with bitcoin the money won't be up to 30k because of charges

On my mind. Use Wave and collect dollars back in Nigeria. This is what my family and I use to send money from USA to Nigeria.

not just receiving, but sending to outside country is damn difficult. You can receive through MG, WU, RIA, etc. But can't send.

Did you just wrote " delay" It's almost impossible to receive money from abroad now.

It's tiring and frustrating, to say the least.
