Start the process bruh and I can assure you that your Pman won’t mind to spare an extra 1 or 2m when you get to a stage that you will need it. I started my process last year with this budget too. It wasn’t easy but I scaled it. Patch up here and there but I was still able to push for it and I don’t regret it for once.

After 18 working days of biometrics without any update, I sent a mail to UK VI and got a response that my case has been escalated.

On January 21, 2021 (23 working days after biometrics), I got a non-straightforward mail.

Collection/Decision mail - January 29, 2021 (29 working days after biometrics).

Today February 1, 2021 passports collected and all applications approved.

My conclusion and take away from Nairaland.
Standard application is a long waiting game that requires serious patience. Don't box yourself into any timeframe that may give you high BP. If you do everything right and provide the required genuine documents, application will be granted.

The waiting period was really frustrating.

I return all glory to God for His faithfulness over me and my family.

For those still waiting and prospective applicant, God will grant you, your heart desire.

The reason why I told you to forget about the admin review is because the job of the reviewer is to check if the decision maker followed the immigration rule before the refusal and Not to reassess your application. (if reassessment is required, your case will be referred back to the original case working team).

You have a better chance at a review if it was an account discrepancy but in this instance, it is an automatic ground for refusal because of the rule the eco quoted.

*failure to comply With a request made by an eco to interview you without providing a reasonable explanation.

So the choice is yours, if you have time, you can go for the review, otherwise, just reapply.

2. Covid test result
3. Passport

Which means they got your email but they looked away.

Pretty sure it is from your network provider.

Very sad and the ECO was so irrational...very annoying . The two options you have

1. Apply for administrative review showing call logs but due to covid even normal application are taking a while so this path will take ages. You might end up resuming in the next semester

2. Apply again , adding a cover letter explaining the first rejection and include call logs. But this you have to check with the school if they are willing to reissue you a new CAS

They said once system generate reference number, you cannot change it

. He tried creating another one severally even use different email address, it keep saying there is an active appointment for him
