Nigerians Are Watching Porn En Masse - Tusweet by maleekberry: 6:33am On Feb 06, 2021 |
Though he studied engineering at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede in Imo State, Tusweet grew up with a different vision: to become Nigeria’s greatest maker of pornography, producing “happiness” as he calls it. The vision was clear from his childhood and Lagos, city of dreams—including of sinful aspirations—finally brought man and dream together. “It wasn’t about money,” he tells Nigeria Abroad from his base in the commercial city, a skullcap hugging his head. “When I was younger, I consumed a lot of porn. I don’t masturbate—I hate it. I liked watching them cum in porn. All I wanted to do was grow up and produce the kind of porn those Americans were making.” The Bayelsa-born CEO of Sweetporn9jaa chose a name eloquent for his trade: Tusweet. On his streets people hail the name, as do players in Nigeria’s emerging porn industry. While many produce porn solely from the business standpoint, Tusweet is a devotee who worked his way from the ground up. “I was a porn model before becoming a producer. There’s a lot of money in the industry if you know the nitty-gritty. A lot of money,” he emphasizes, a crease of smile upon his bearded face. Though video consumption is low in Nigeria over data costs, and many Nigerians from the lower class easily claim to be on free mode, the country boasts enough porn voyeurs to keep Tusweet and his colleagues rooted in their beat. He says the data do not match Nigeria’s religious bearing. “Everybody de watch porn. Everybody. Even the holier-than-thou person in your office, they watch porn in their closets. If they’re not, how come we have these massive views from Nigeria?” Getting female models who can perform without masks is hard in Nigeria—for other producers, not him, he tells Nigeria Abroad. “I walk up to women and tell them what I do and whether they’ll like to perform. Some agree, some don’t. Some seek me out on the internet—from Togo, Ghana, Nigeria. Not all of them are runs girls. God has been blessing me.” Which leads us to the moral question: is his work right and pleasing to God? “If God didn’t permit it, it wouldn’t work,” he says. “God is the King of all principalities. He knows everything. We’re all sinners, just that Nigerian sinners judge other sinners. We’re all sinning differently. The politicians that loot money meant for the public are sinning. Me I’m just making people happy; I no kill person.” Pay for actresses range from $3,000 a month to $10,000, said Nigerian IndecentStar Edet Mareme in an interview with Business Insider in 2019. Nigerian producers pay differently based on factors that include industry fame. Mareme said she was looking forward to the industry growing to the point of players getting awards for their work. Tusweet has appeared on DSTV Pop Central, and a Ghanaian journalist once came looking for him and later featured him on a broadcast station there. It’s not for nothing, he says. “I’m a record breaker. I work hard, sometimes I hardly sleep. I’m the only Nigerian porn maker who has done double penetration, who has done blind girl porn. Who is about to release a real pregnant woman porn. My content is on porn sites. Premium. I just post the shorter videos for regular free view.” A porn making venture can take off with as low as $1,000 if the producer has video-making skills, but high-definition gadgets require more investment. For Tusweet, it’s a fulltime work. He has a lawyer, and conducts full medical laboratory tests on models for raw sex, he says. He produces both raw and protected sex content, noting that “raw does not mean big traffic.” He also makes sure the legal paperwork is tight and that models are of age to avoid litigation. There’s no Nigerian law banning pornography, nor is there any permitting it. Only Lagos (and perhaps some other states?) forbids revenge porn, as does Tusweet. Nigerian laws, however, prohibit child pornography. The world is now watching Nigerian porn, the great producer says, because “it’s natural.” And that is money, “which is why many guys are now going into it.” Though his family does not know what he does for a living, some friends know. In his former hood in Lagos, he occasionally returns to street hailings as many there know his work. “And some ask for money, money from porn, even those who call it a sin.” Tusweet declines to reveal his real name and age, but he looks like a man who has seen 30 at least. He’s going to get married someday soon, he assures. For the first time, Nigeria is a latecomer to business: from Togo, Senegal, Gabon, Kenya, South Africa to Mozambique, other African countries have been around the porn scene since the internet explosion of the 2000’s. Only recently did Nigerian pornstars begin to act unmasked, research for this story finds. The latecoming is a result of Nigeria’s thick moral façade. But porn work and consumption have consequences. Addiction can lead to sexual dysfunction, and porn actors are at a higher risk of contracting STDs. Despite that thorough medical tests can be conducted on actors ahead of performance, there’s still a window period for a disease like HIV, for instance—a close period before the test in which the infection can hardly be detected. There are challenges in the work, Tusweet says, but one part at least is easy: “Male models are easy to get, they keep calling.” Hardly surprising. For a gender with a great historical casualty for sex—who have fallen to ruins or died from it—they clearly can’t wait to start getting rewards for decades of ancestral labor. And Tusweet, a trained engineer, is building a great enterprise out of fornication, with millions of faceless Nigerians lending a hand. https://nigeriabroad.com/-interview---record-breaking--nigerian-porn-maker-says-nigerians-are-watching-en-masse Cc lalasticlala

Nigerian p0rnstars just like calling big figures to deceive the gullible ones How can they say they pay actresses $3000 to $10,000 per month That's equivalent to 1.1million and 3.8million respectively, if that's the reality a lot of people in both private and public sector would have switched to phorn 10 Likes |

Jerryherd: To say they pay their models ( male & female ) $3000 to $10000 per month is a big fat lie We all see those actors and actresses on xvideos they look malnourished and dirty I doubt if any of them collects up to 500k per month ** Am not talking of the contents producers o. Am talking about the actors ( male & female) See ehen there's a Yoruba actress ( bimpe oyebade) that had an interview with Broadway tv and said she makes up to 500k in a GOOD month. Meaning that the 500k isn't regular/ constant. Now such a person and many of her colleagues would have easily switched from acting movies to doing phorn if it was that lucrative in Nigeria Even former phornstars like peace olayemi and savagetrap queen wouldn't have left to go and start doing YouTube skits and selling bleaching creams 1 Like |
