Oga Gazzuzz, my Toyota Camry 2004, 2.4l started jerking yesterday. It was so bad that the car stopped twice on the road.
Mechanic said i should change fuel pump, spark plugs & service the fuel injectors which i did .
Went back to carry the car not quite long ago & i observed that when i stepped on the brake, the car still jerks a little but not as bad as it was yesterday.
Check engine light & Maintenance required signs have been on the dashboard since December.

There's something my 07 RX350 does sometimes. On the highway, when I'm climbing a slope, no matter how much I match the throttle, it gets to a point where the car will not speed further.

Other smaller engine cars will be overtaking me at this point. My speed will usually be around 80-90km.

After the climb, the speed picks up again.

Note: It wasn't like this before. In addition, when I've run AC for a long distance drive of say 6-7 hours, the AC goes off by itself and the car temperature starts overheating.

I'll have to park and let it cool before I continue.

Please what could be the problem here and what should I do?

What was the last repair done on the car? Get the car scan and share code.

For DIY

Check the air filter, see if it is clogged
Test your fuel pressure
Test your battery

I use a carmy 04 model v6, 1mzfe.

Pls of recent I got my CEL on, scanned it the codes are
P0300
P0301
P0303
P0305
P0420
P0430

Have changed spark plugs, checked coils (with a multimeter they are okay, even swapped coils, since it's a V6 but I still get misfire codes in the banks 1) changed fuel filter, gotten new air filter, serviced fuel injector, at a time I swapped the fuel injector bank 1 to bank 2 and vice versa.

Still get these codes come up after covering 75Miles.

My kazeem says the car compression is okay,


I don't feel any drivability issues. It's revs well and fires well on the road. My mech even took it for s spin drive and said that the car picks very quickly and well unlike other cars he has driven.

Pls Gazuuz and other car gurus, Autologic and all
I need your help in resolving this issue as am not comfortable with these CEL codes being on.

This goes beyond using codes to make guesses ,further test is need, book appointment with a recommended tech for further diagnosis , and fix

Hello guys, I got a Lexus gs300 last decemeber, I didn't know the car will be that low, the road that leads to my house was very bad and the car has been constantly hitting the floor. So i want to ask, can this damage anything in one month? The road has been repaired now but my car now makes a rattle sound anytime i start it, it is worse if it's the first start of the day.

Second question, the two back tyre rims have black residue on them, it even leaves the black dust on the ground, someone suggests i need to change the brake pad? Is that the case?

Third Question, I want to service my car, previous seller was using Toyota SL SAE 20w/50 ( black keg) but i can't find that same exact one here in ibadan, the closest i found is Toyota SJ SAE 20w/50 ( red keg) can i use that instead? Or can i use another oil ( your recommendation?)

Fourth Question, I did wheel alignment a month ago and since then my afs light has been on, it seems i have to make adjustments to the afs sensor? But most mech here don't really know what that is, what do i tell them to check and where? Or can someone recommend to me a good mechanic in ibadan? Thank you

It does not have a price. None will remove a torque converter from a functional transmission and sell to you .

@gazzuzz, please what can cause a Corolla sport from jerking while on Driving in traffic and when changed back to Neutral it balance back. Changed one engine sit before and same issue still occur.

I recently scanned my car and they said the driving shaft is bad and to replace it is 29 k and labour 10k ps who knows a better and a cheaper place I can get this done cos when I make a u turn d noise is becoming too loud thanks
