You shouldn't be setting offside trap in that situation. The risk is too high as was proven. They should have dropped deeper and cleared the ball AND the keeper should have been coming out to clear everybody in his path bu De Gea is a sissy at his core. FRED affected our balance if we are being sincere.. The tactics Everton employed which is to quickly close down the CM's, we need a calm baller who can holdand dictate which Pogba was doing till he got injured. Since Fred got on, the responsibility shifted to Lindelof if you observe. VDB have more to offer than Fred in the game. The McFred combo is to help the defense, still defense collapse. Why not play VDB who can dictate play from deep.

The defeat had nothing to do with Fred. We just were careless at the back and suffered from critical errors at crucial moments. This was a game we controlled practically from start to finish.

We had 62% possession and made 250 more passes than Everton with a pass accuracy of 89% to their 81%. We also created 14 shots to their 6. Our midfielders did enough for us to win last night. It was one of our best performances as a team but a few unfortunate people allowed the devil to use them.

People at this point are just looking for what is not missing. With Fred we still dominated possession 62 to 38, chances created 14 to 6, and made 250 more passes.
The balance from midfield was good enough to win the match.
