So if the soldiers shoot at computer village or the Seaport, the next thing is for these places to be shut down and destroyed?
Many of you guys don’t even give a bleep about the victims but you just want it shut for few reasons:
1. People don’t want to pay tolls again because we have been wired to think the government can provide everything so we should use it for free instead.
2. The people that think Tinubu owns it, they want it shut down to get back at Tinubu and have a bragging right.
3. Those celebrity that want to trend again with this.
4. People that are really concerned (unfortunately they are few).
One funny thing is that people are passing the tollgate currently and the only difference is that toll fees are not being paid. So I really don’t understand how people could disrespect the ‘dead’ and keep driving through the place if that’s the narrative they are pushing.
I will pretend as if I didn't see the other Irrelevant points you raised up there.. Let's critically look at point no 1.. Why should we keep paying for toll gate Where does the money go to What do they do with the money Have you notice that since the toll gates were closed, you hardly meet traffic at that point?? Which Nigerians? I am not part of those feeding from gaslighting because of 2023 presidency Mr Sowore wants to contest for. I hope corporate organisations that give their businesses premises for public protest will learn from the horrible business decisions taken by LCC.
LCC employees have been at home for months now yet those who formented trouble and spread fake creatives of dead bodies loaded in hilux have moved on. Even Mr Sowore's business, Saharareporters, is running smoothly and making more money from this campaign yet he wants another person's business shut forever.
If you are a LCC employee and you don't go and fight, even physically beat these political protesters and fight for your livelihood survival that day before they kill you with hunger from their horrible hypocritical politics , you will regret it. In fact, you are disloyal to the company.
LCC that is just a victim of circumstance is now their target just because they think it is owned by their political opponent Tinubu. DSS should by now start picking them up even before their day of political protest.
Police should arrest and prosecute them if they dare try disrupt the business of LCC. u are a fool,idiot,...fucking traitor 4 Likes |

So they should be protesting fuel price hike, ASUU abi ASUN bla bla bla but protesting against police brutality and fighting for the right to live is 'joblessness'?
Have the investigations even been concluded? No justice for the victims, missing security footage disappearing into thin air, an uncooperative government lying through their teeth about the massacre even occurring and all they can think of is going back to collecting money for their pockets and creating more chaos on the roads they won't even fix with this money. A good portion of you need to be sectioned
What has the investigations got to do with the toll gate? If the toll gate is reopened, will the investigation stop? When those Shiites were killed some years back by the army, was that road in Abuja shut down? This is not about police brutality again, it's plain stupidity. There are many pressing needs right now that they should be protesting for if they want to protest not toll gate. Don't be foolish please. 2 Likes |

If we are really concerned about those who actually died during the last ENDSARS protest, then we should be occupying BUSHES, EXPRESS, SAMBISA and all troubled areas where BANDITS, BOKO HARAM and the rest kill people on a daily basis. WUdec: They don't need to protest. All they gotta do is wait a few days before its launch and set it on fire.
If they do this constantly, the company would keep incurring losses and they'd be forced to halt the idea
The same way they got funding for the protest can be used to rehire the type of thugs that the LCC hired and pay them peanuts to burn down the gates
Feed them what they fed those pour souls
The youth are intelligent and internet savvy so the net has enough power to move these ideas in volumes.
The cost of the equipment alone would pay those thugs for 3 months.
Anybody seen trying to cause trouble or destroy anything in and around the Toll Gate should be arrested and if he/she resist arrest should be shot. 1 Like |

Montaque: Lagos state government is the sole owner of LCC, and all toll fee (minus maintenance money) goes to the Lagos State Government and peple behind it. I discovered that Lagosians that oppose this Lekki toll gate shutdown/protest live in Abule Egba, Iyana Ipaja and Ishaga. They feel those in Lekki should suffer like they do, by paying endless toll fee. Consider that they don't benefit from the toll fee, but they want it being paid by Lekki Residents.
Apart from the Endsars issue, those living in Lekki wants to know why they are paying and what they money is used for. For me, this is an opportunity to audit that financial cesspit called LCC Let's not muddle up these issues. 1) Is the collection of Tolls the reason for this renewed Protest? 2) Is this renewed Protest about punishing those responsible for the shooting? |
