Hello my fellow hopefuls. I was told to upload my bank statement for NSE but the thing is that the bank statements I’m using don’t have the balance of 30k for 6 months because the funds have been invested in fixed deposit. This means that my account balance is not enough because of the fixed deposit investment. How do I go about this and should I just attach a letter of explanation? |

Hi, the message you got from IRCC is the NSE route to expedite processing if you have both the IELTS results and bank statement with the timeline and amount required you can go ahead, if not it is also okay only that it will go through the normal processing time. For the second part regarding your school payment, yes you can defer however you will have to communicate with the school. To find out the next possible intake available. 1 Like |

Tony1900: Hi Tony, you have nothing to worry about if you are innocent of their allegations. I would suggest you visit your branch immediately and speak with your account officer or a senior official of the branch. Appeal to them to send my bank statement` certificate on your behalf ( with one-year banking history) to the embassy and to the e-mail address they have instructed in their letter quoting your UCI and application number. The IRCC would have some comfort if this comes from an official of the bank directly. You can also on your own part get a reference letter from the bank and respond to IRCC with a copy of the mybankstatement certificate and the reference letter and then write a concise response e-mail that you are writing in response to the IRCC letter dated XXXX and attaching a copy of the mybankstatement and reference letter for their attention in accordance to the IRCCrequest and also inform them that a copy has also been sent to IRCC officially by your bank and also state the date. But try to get your bank to send the mybankstatement certificate to the embassy first. It will end in praise. 2 Likes |

Hello, I need advice. My goal is to relocate to Canada. I'm currently a 3rd year Nursing student (BSc). Due to the strike and pandemic and uncertainties surrounding the educational system last year, I closed my eyes and applied to just a school (college to be precise) for Bsc Nursing. I got in few days ago!!! Here lies my dilemma: I'm currently in 300L and if things go as planned with 4 semesters in a year, I'd be graduating next year; although I don't think personally that that is feasible. Nasu and Ssanu is currently on strike, only God knows if in a few months time, ASUU won't on the basis that FG has not fulfilled their promises. If God and ASUU willing, I'd graduate in 2 years (this year and next year, Although I'll be adding extra 6 months for uncertainties). I still have to do 1 year internship then NYSC that's about 4.5 years already. If I decide after then to go through PPR, I think I'll need at least 1yr work experience to at least boost CRS score before I start applying. All in all that might take me extra 2 years if I get accepted or 1.5 years... That will be bringing my calculations to 6 or 6.5 years that's 2026/2027. And even if I get there, I'll have to take NCLEX exams before I can get a job. It's also recommended to do at least 1yr brushup course for internationally educated nurses. The certification by provincial council of nurses takes time too... So that's extra 6 months before job search if I take express NCLEX without brush up programs; and 1.5 years if I take the brush up before the exam. That is bring my years calculations to 6.5/7 years or 7.5/8years from this year before I can be licensed. On the other hand if I accept the admission, I don't think I can transfer my credit because this is the first set to be admitted solely for Bsc Nursing and not practical nursing. If I accept, in 4 years I'd graduate and write my NCLEX upon final year. So I'd be certified to practice there in 4 years and a sure job and 3 years PGWP will be waiting for me because I sure can network and make use of every available opportunity. So please what should I do. I'm confused, I really want to go but doesn't have a sponsor. Or even someone that can sponsor just my first year with the aim of payment back before I grad. Someone advised me to just stay and grab my degree and there after try UK or USA since NCLEX can be written here for USA though. justwise: 2 Likes |

englois: You can use any bank, as long as you have the required funds in your account and a payment instruction. Its just like making a transfer to your account in another bank (in a different country). I used Fidelity bank. 1 Like |

shupy: Yes, you will need to provide SOA. GIC is just a means to show that your living expenses is secured in Canada. You'll still need to show proof of readily accessible funds for your tuition and some other expenses (with your SOA or that of your sponsor). |
