Please can someone help on this

Baphil:
Hello house,
Please If someone who is applying for student permit, has two children and one is a US citizen; does she still need to add that child in her application?

If not, how does she add her US citizen child?

Does this child need to do medical test too?

Thank you.

You are welcome, no there is no implication

- The reason why people always like to go for 2-years program is cos of 2-3 years PGWP

- 1 year program only gives 1 year PGWP

Unfortunately not all programs are 2-years

I would really appreciate insights on this below:

Forgive my being naive in advance for this question:

I would like to ask if a new admission letter i.e deferred from January to May which is now stating the mode of study as: ONLINE due to Covid which I understand although it is stated in the new letter that the INCLASS delivery will resume once the government gives guidelines, will this new mode of study affect my application to mean my program is now online just like pursuing online programs that does not require visa,as I will be sending my new admission letter via webform.

Ps: Medical request and AIP received.

Is what they sent a pdf document with ticket ID and password? Since that’s what’s requested. If it is, that means the bank already submitted directly to the embassy, the receipt is what you get in your email in form of pdf with ticket ID and password.

If it’s just the normal bank statement, I will suggest this because zenith is on MBS platform, you are requested to submit MBS. If your dad has internet banking, there’s option to send bank statement to embassy. Select Canada and the length, this automatically goes to the embassy, then you will receive an email showing receipt of MBS and an attachment with your ticket ID and password

@Rootiab, take a deep breathe and relax. No need to rush things too much. Zenith bank is on the MBS platform so they should be able to generate it. What your dad should receive in his mail is the ticket ID and password.

If you are on the same town with him, I suggest you pay him a visit and go to the bank with him. When you get to the bank ask for My bank statement and not ordinary statement. Take your time to explain to the customer service personnel there.

If you are not in the same town with him, let him go to the bank and request to see the operations manager or the head of operations, then he can explain to them or better still call you at that point so you can explain to them what is required.

This is my own thinking and opinion. All this because the bank is actually on the MBS platform. Some of the personnel in the bank will not want to bother, they might just generate the normal statement.

Sorry for the long epistle.

I think for this you just need to be very sure that the class or course of study is not ONLINE.

If it is online at the moment because the schools can not have an in class on campus class then you are good to go. If this is the case then it means as soon as the go is given then school will resume in class.

So you are good to go as far as you have confirmed well. (My thinking)

Hello Everyone, I got my acceptance letter yesterday from Lambton College for a 2-year Post graduate certificate program. I was asked to make a payment deposit of $7500 for the first semester before I can apply for study permit visa.
Please, how good is the college? And what are the necessary things I need to put into consideration for the visa application?

Hello,
I think you really need to consider their refund policy. That's probably the most important thing to look at.

Basically, you need to have a good proof of funds. Then a well crafted Statement of Purpose and Home ties to indicate you'll come back to Nigeria after your studies.

Look at the link below

https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part

I'm sure there are a few persons here who applied to lambton. They should be able to help with more information.

Goodluck!

I don’t think there is any harm against sending web forms. I think at @Lekibobo wrote something on this.

Sending web forms does not in anyway affect one’s application negatively so why not especially since your application has been submitted since October.

As long as you send it well worded and not confrontational. Just nicely plead.
