I guess so too. I'd be traveling in two weeks time as well

Guys...I’m traveling to USA in 2 week time. I learnt from my Travel agent that all travelers are required to do a Rapid covid 19 test which will cost another 37k at the airport in addition to the one take at the laboratory . Regardless the airline
How true is this? Help please help

Since it is not a large sum, I'd advise you to, 1. Buy dollars, maybe with 5k, 2 Get a prepaid card from Uba and fund it. ( I Just did mine last week)
or try other options

Hello house, has anyone here experience this?
I tried paying my application fee of $95 with my GT BANK Naira Debit Mastercard which has funds in it of over 50k. But the platform responded that the payment was declined. I've been to Gt bank to complain they said unless I open a dollar account, that any transaction over $100 on my Naira Debit Mastercard won't go through except its less than $100.
Please is there any other method I can make use just to pay this application fee as it is quite urgent. Thank you very much for your help.

Hello bro,

Pls how do one know the red flagged schools? You mean the fact that nos of foreign students admmited are minimal? What if that is the school that matches my plans and interest? Pls explain how this works bro. Thanks
horlahsunbo225:

Boss this school look like one of those red flag schools
Only 500 students for both UG and PG.....the best advice is to try and change the school.

According to Wikipedia this school has
38,231 students ..... Texas State University is a public research university in San Marcos, Texas. Established in 1899

there is no way a school with this number of students and established for years can be a red flag

Well I dont know how best to explain it but schools without a good reputation (if you can't find their profiles on usnews.com), less student (less than 2k) and other stuff like that are redflag schools
And also for-profit private schools are not good

Good morning House!

Please I need a bit of quick advice. My current passport will expire June next year, and I need to schedule an interview at the embassy asap for Fall 2021 resumption. Will my current passport validity suffice or should I go ahead and apply for renewal before I start my visa application process.

Thanks in advance.

Good morning wonderful people.

I'm applying for communication studies at California State University for fall 2021.

GRE and Toefl are exempted as the school advisor said.

I'll just like to know if I'm not missing anything. I'm about to get my transcript from school and upload the unofficial while the school sends the original directly.

This is the stage I am now. I'm inexperienced with this so any advice would suffice.

thanks

If it's next year 2022, you have no problem. You can't even renew now if you decide to because the validity period is still more than 6 months. Your passport is still very valid, so go ahead and make use of it.

HBCU will be much more to your advantage, there's already an established community of black students there.

HBCU is your best bet esp for undergrads.

Now what's HBCU, it's Historical Black colleges and university, a seemly group of colleges and university in US with rafts of black students studying there.

Thank you very much.
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by kastgeraldino: 8:00pm On Feb 10, 2021
This is accurate. You can renew the passport when there; the visa will still be valid even on an expired passport.
