Aissy:
Good evening everyone
Please in my letter of explanation I stated my dad was pensioned and now he is into farming and life stock rearing, and I included pension ID, letter of retirement as he is my sponsor. will that be enough? I will welcome any advice + am using an agent and she keeps telling me there is no need to prove home ties

You pay for Biometrics at the time of paying for your visa application. It's included in the 235CAD if you're a first time applicant.

If it's your second Application within 10 years, you wouldn't need to pay for the Biometrics.

I hope it's clear?

Yes thanks

Good morning everyone. So I uploaded the ticket print out yesterday and it's still say action required. What should I do?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Baphil: 8:49am On Feb 10, 2021
Thank you for this useful input. However, when I was answering the questions that generate the checklists, I was told the child doesn't need a visa to go to Canada because he's a US citizen which I already knew but just trying it out. So because he didn't need a visa, he (4years old) couldn't be added to the application. My issue is if the mother can't add him to her application, how then will she notify IRCC that she will be traveling with him? Is it compulsory to declare that?

Please ideas and pieces of advice needed here.

I am no expert but applying with two kids is a very long shot. You would need to write a very convincing SOP on why they must go with you, and fully demonstrate about how you intend to cater for them while you study.

Response to your questions:
1. Yes. you need to indicate the children accompanying you, including the US citizen.
2. I guess this has been answered in 1.
3. Yes, the accompanying child would take medical test and might be required to take biometrics if the child is of a certain age.

i think you should focus on the Nigerian citizen child and dont mention the US citizen child. my friend did same and had no issues

I think you should wait for IRCC's update on your child's application.

How easy is it getting a Canadian student visa knowing that I some have my "travel history". Does it make my application tougher?

Hi Bidemi, in addition to Potential Nurse advice, try to do your next application to your desired school on your own, some of these agents do not really know much about this process. I am sure you will do it much better if you handle this on your own.

All the best
Yes dear, please can anyone help me to list of universities (MSc)or even colleges (Garduate Diploma)that offers Professional communication or Mass communication related courses..
Help a sister...

There is a need to prove home ties, with information you think will help prove a strong home ties and there is no one particular of proving it. Different people with different situations.

As regards your dad's agricultural business( you need to show/ proof that it is a profitable business and that your intention to study will not be a financial burden to him by showing business or his personal account where transactions from the business reflects. My two cents. Kindly wait for others inputs.

With your agent- if you decide to employ his/ her services , I strongly advise you do your research and obtain information by yourself ,don't forget the agent can not be more interested in your studies than YOU.

Hello,
Please I want to confirm somethings about passport submission. Do you have to include receipt of passport transmission fee in the folder you're sending to the VAC, and if so where do you get the receipt, since it's a bank transfer. Also is there a reason why the Abuja VAC is better than Lagos?
